Check out the KickStart book you got when you joined. It's a 2 week plan, all mapped out. You pick from menu lists. Our sub-leader did it for 2 weeks and then was back on track after a few bad weeks prior.

Now I just have to find my booklet! For some reason it's not with the rest of my ww stuff. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes, it was great that you showed up Oraki! And yes, I think you can do it! Last week I took a look at my journal since March 1st. Not only do I keep track of my points, water, f&v, milk and oils - but I also write down my weight (from my own scale), it's a WW scale and it's pretty close to the one at my meeting too. I also keep track of my sodium intake and fiber too. I do well if I eat most of my points every day, watch my sodium, drink lots of water - I drink 180 oz. a day, and I eat a lot of fiber - 35-60 grams a day. I also do some sort of exercise each day, even if just for a little while.

So here are my suggestions for you:

1)drink a lot of water
2)really watch the sodium intake - canned soup, frozen dinners, fast food, a lot of cheese, chips, crackers and canned veggies all have a lot of salt.
3) try to eat all your points every day, or come close. Don't go too low - I did for a few days and actually started gaining weight
4)try to eat a lot of fiber -it's not hard when you eat fiber one cereal, the fiberone bars, fruits, veggies, popcorn, etc.
5) Try to exercise everyday or several days a week - even if just 15 minutes a day. There are lots of days I just don't have much time and just jump on my exercise bike for 15 minutes. I've made a commitment to myself that I can do at least 15 minutes a day of anything!

You can try these, or just a few - or none at all if you don't want to. I just know that when I try to do all these everyday, I usually have good losses on my scale at home! Now, I just have to keep them up to continue good losses

Good Luck, I really wish you the best with attaining your goal each week and then your BIG GOAL by 5/8!!!
I will try these things. Thanks so much! I have to ask though how do you get so much fiber in each day. Can you give me a example of what you eat in a day. Thanks for letting me bother you. That's a great idea to write down your weigh in your journal. I step on the scale daily anyway so I should keep track of it.

Thanks for the well wishes. You're doing great and keep up the good work!

I followed Atkins for forever, then Kimkins and last June started WW, I've lost 40 lbs, and am kinda stalled now (due to vacation and sheer laziness) and only gained 2 lbs back, but working hard to move it.

Just want to make sure I'm on the right board!!!
Yep you're in the right place!! Oh I'm glad to hear that you're not doing Kimkins anymore. I've heard pretty bad things about that plan. I bet you're a lot happier with WW. You're doing great so far! Don't worry about that 2 pounds. It will be off before you know it.

I never heard of Kimkims so I don't know anything about that. But welcome to the WW's board. I just found it yesterday myself. I used to come here when I was on Atkins. Now I am living it instead of dieting it at WW's. This is a nice place to meet.

Everything that I have listed w/ SS is for Super Suppers ( This was Parmesan baked salmon, and I don't remember the recipe). My son and I go every other weekend and make dinners to last a couple of weeks. I never can think of meals, so I really enjoy this. All the meals have nutritional values and I use the correct portion for my meal and usually add pasta and/or a veggie, and the kids and hubby eat however much they want.

I hate asking "what do you want for dinner?" and always getting the same answer..."I don't know"

This is the best thing that I've done, for dinner.

I've struggled with my weight all my life from being a chubby kid to a fat adult and got fatter with each diet. I would definitely be the poster child for any 'diets don't work' campaign!!

I'm turning 35 this year and my baby girl Matilda was born 17 weeks ago. She was a surprise, I hadn't expected to get pregnant at my weight (I was about 15lbs lighter when I found out I was pregnant so svelte I was not!) but what a pleasant surprise! Luckily the pregnancy was fine, super fast labour, and out came the most amazing gorgeous person i'd ever seen She looks just like her daddy!

I don't want my little princess having the food issues I have and I don't want to be the mum who doesn't do things because she can't. Just the thought of not being able to run around with her upsets me so much so its very important to me that I get into the best shape possible and even conquer my greatest fear, that of exercise

Am looking forward to getting to know all of you, cheers!

It is very low impact, but you will feel it the next few days. If you go by the video, it takes almost an hour...it takes me 35 min w/out it. If you skip through the pictures, the video is about 45 minutes. The best thing to do is get on EBAY and buy a used vhs video for about $5. I did, and then bought a DVD. I have now lent out both and do the everything from memorie.

For more information do a search and check out the website.

Caroline (Winstonian)...for some bizzare reason I had a dream about your cat last night. I dreamt we were driving thru Grand Rapids Michigan and there was your kitty cat on the side of the road under and overpass.

Just in case you gals didn't already think I'm loopy, it can now be official.

I'm pretty sure some of my dream was brought on by the sugar coma I put myself into last night...our new neighbor dropped off homemade Peanut Butter cookies. Needless to say, they are gone. I have a sugar hangover this morning, but no regrets...they were delish.

Well today's WI just sucked!!!

I gained 4 lbs but you know it's my own fault, I take full responsibility.

I've been half heartedly on plan since December and my recent cruise kinda sent it all south, but we also haven't done any "real" grocery shopping since November. He works night / me days so he buys what he wants and I eat ALOT at the hospital as I live there virtually. So last night went shopping, stocked and am planned for the day/week.

I'm more disappointed in myself because I did so good losing the first 40.
