Hello fellow WW's! I like that WW's has a solid reputation. They have been around for a bunch of years and I've never heard anything bad about their plan. They keep re-inventing themselves and even adding scientists and doctors to their admin staff. While other programs have fallen by the wayside or had scandals WW's keeps on ticking. I became a lifetime member back in 1973 when we used mustard in tuna fish. Yuck! But WW's has come a long way baby and this current version is very livable to me.

I have a small victory to share. As you know I am not the biggest loser on the scale. Yesterday I went to the city shopping. On a daily basis I wear scrubs to work and sweats around house. I have not found the need to wear jeans in weeks. Well I decide to clean myself up for my shopping adventure and went to put my jeans on and I did not need to button to put on or off.

You can imagine my excitement so I start trying on jean and not a pair fit. All to big. I was forced to wear a nicer jog set with a tie at waist.

Last night at midnight I decide to try my bathing suits on just for fun and they are all WAY to big. Damn, I hate that. My husband could not believe it.

Everyone, this is a great example to go by how the clothes fits not the scales number.

I did have nice time shopping and it was a cool but sunny day.

Sorry for the ramble.

Babbs
That's not a small victory. That's huge!!! Great job! Keep it up. As they say, slow and steady wins the race! You're doing great!

I think I may give Core a shot this coming week, just to stir things up a bit. I got my WW kit in the mail and I think it was money well spent. It was fun going through the pantry with the points calculator. Yup, I'm easily amused LOL
Good luck with Core this week. Please let us know how you like it.

I'm looking forward to trying the new Fiber One Cinn Raisin bread tonight for snack.

Hope I dont fart as much as I do with the bars
I don't know what it is about those bars but if I eat them my stomach is in a world of trouble. It has to be something else besides the fiber because I can eat other products with the same amount of fiber and I don't have any issues. But those damn bars...good grief!

oh, I also tried on some of my size 10 levis, and they fit!!!! I'm so excited. It will take me forever to get down to 8's, but that's the goal.
Quote:
I recently had to retire my old levis. I have a 2 pairs in my closet that I bought a size smaller (back in 2005 or so) that I never fit into. This time I will !!

Woohoo ts1 and Reg!!! That's awesome!! I just love NSV! I have an itty bitty one to share. I was standing at a coworker's desk on Friday and my previous manager came and told me that I was looking good. When I first started there she was the one that told me about ww at work because she was a member. She's doing ww online now but we still talk about how things are going for each other sometimes. It made me smile.

Quote:
I had two recent NSVs. Yesterday, my MIL came over and while I was puttering around the kitchen and she asked me if lost weight. I said yes, about 20 pounds, and she said I looked good! Then on Friday, I had to get a new driver's license because mine expires next month and I don't have a double chin in my photo! This is unheard of! I always take terrible pictures and while my hair doesn't look the best, my face doesn't look all huge. I can't believe it!
to no double chin!! Woohoo!!!! Isn't it great when someone else notices all your hard work? Keep it up you're doing great!!

Quote:
Let me ask a question: Why is it when I'm at home I can go all day with very few points but when I'm at work, I HAVE to eat 3 meals, 2 snacks and lots of water to survive?
I'm sorry that I can't help because I seem to be the opposite. I can go much longer periods of times without eating at work but being at home is a whole different story. I hope someone can shed some light on this for you.

I lost another 1.4 pounds at weigh in yesterday !!! I am so happy!!!! I've lost a total of 6.2 pounds since March 1st - when I started WW!

I am especially thrilled because I was stuck at a stall for a few weeks before starting on WW. I had lost 43 some pounds myself - but got stuck and didn't know what to do anymore.

I just love this, that I am able to have the freedom to eat what I want and lose weight!!! Oh yeah, and this has been a very hard month for me because I had 2 birthday parties to go to, a wedding to go to and Easter and still lost weight!!!!

Now, the 1st week I lost the most - 3.8 pounds, but I didn't use any WPAs. For 2 weeks I used my WPAs and had small losses. Now this past week, I only used 10/35 WPAs to experiment and I had a better loss than when I used all 35 WPAs. So, I definetly have better losses when I don't use my WPAs and my 2 goals for this week are:

1) do not use ANY WPAs
2) exercise more!

Hope everyone had a great and safe weekend!

I tried to have an on plan day. We went to my mothers to pick up daughter and mom insisted on fixing Sunday breakfast. She is an awesome cook but has no clue to healthy cooking and no plans to learn. I know what I ate but when you cook with lard how in the world do you count points. I did take extremely Sm. portions, just enough not to offend mom. I did skip lunch hoping that would help with the point total. I know not a good plan but it was the best @ the time.

Besides the food dilemma I had a nice visit.

Hello on this Sunday.

Thank you so much but I would still like the scale number to move downward. I am a short girl. That was still the inspiration I needed.

I hope you have a good work week.

I had a need for comfort food last night and fixed this. I enjoyed it.
WW Giant Breakfast Cookies
Just wanted to share this recipe - they're HUGE, tasty and filling!

1 1/4 c. oatmeal
1/4 c. splenda
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 c raisins
1/4 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 c applesauce

divide batter into 4 (approx 2/3 c each)
back at 350, 15-20 min
each cookie is 3pts
if you use real sugar instead of splenda, each cookie is 4 pts.

Yes it was. Heidi Diaz (Kimmer) did NOT lose almost 200 lbs and in fact she is VERY VERY OVERWEIGHT, and allegedly bald. She's made a million preying on people ... and making them sick with her diet. I had a ton of problems myself during this time but never thought it was from that; guess I was wrong ... people (including myself) ... heart palpitations; chest pain (I was admitted twice); hair loss, memory loss, and I had horrendous mood swings. ALL stopped once I stopped her plan. WW is the ONLY way for me to go. It's healthy, balanced and you're not leaving out ANY food group.

Colorado: I read some articles about Kim Kimer and I was shocked. She is still making money according to the article I read. So glad you got out of that and have come to Weight Watchers! You cannot go wrong with WW's. It is healthy, safe and very doable.
