Thought I would share this little inspiration I found on the WW board.
Don't Quit When you’ve eaten too much and you can’t write it down, And you feel like the biggest failure in town. When you want to give up just because you gave in, And forget all about being healthy and thin. So What! You went over your points just a bit, It’s your next move that counts…So don’t you dare quit! It’s a moment of truth, it’s an attitude change. It’s learning the skills to get back in your range. It’s telling yourself, “You’ve done great up till now. You can take on this challenge and beat it somehow.” It’s part of your journey toward reaching your goal. You’re still gonna make it, just stay in control. To stumble and fall is not a disgrace, If you summon the will to get back in the race. But, so often the strugglers, when losing their grip,Just throw in the towel and continue to slip. And learn too late when the damage is done, That the race wasn’t over…they still could have won. Lifestyle change can be awkward and slow, But facing each challenge will help you to grow. Success is failure turned inside out, The silver tint in a gray cloud of doubt. When you’re pushed to the brink, just refuse to submit, If you bite it, you write it…But don’t you dare quit! Babbs |

I did it, I got up at 5:00am, was at the gym by 5:15, left the gym at 6:15 to get my 6th grader on the bus by 6:30, and was at work by 7:30 (which is on time for a change). I had an awesome workout. I went into the aerobics room and did some dumb bell work for my flabby arms ( i hate my arms most of all by the way, I have terrible bat wings), and then I did some lunges and squats, and then I got on the elliptical for 15mins, then the treadmill for 15mins with a tough incline at 3.4 mph it was invigorating. I felt great afterwards and I went home and pulled a Reg,
and got on the scale and it was very good to me, I hope to hit 189 by the end of the week.

Good morning ladies!!!
![]() ![]() I did not weigh last night at my WW meeting, since I am over my goal and they would have had to charge me. (My leader suggested this.) Then I got on the scale this morning at home, and it was the same. I have gained and lost the same half pound several times this week, but I am going to be patient and stay OP. I think my body is still adjusting from being on Atkins.![]() Reg, lol at the scale calling you after you pee!! (Me, too! )Beachbound, thanks for the poem! ![]() Oraki, I hope things are going a little better for you now! ![]() Hi Dedicated!! Oatmeal sounds yummy...I need to get up a little earlier one day and cook some! ![]() Newme2be, WTG!!! That is one dang early workout my friend!!!![]() I hope you all have a great day!

Hey everybody! Happy hump day!
Babbs-That's my kitty 2% (because he looks like a dairy cow). He has soft white bunny fur with cow markings and he sleeps on my pillow with his paws in my hair! No wonder I wake up with a stiff neck. Thanks for the poem! Reg- I love those WW recipes. They have been a lifesaver for me. As for the saltines, I used low fat crackers. I put them in a bag and crushed them with a rolling pin. Hope your WI went well! newme2be- I am in awe of you! That sounds like an awesome workout! You'll hit your goal in no time. Oraki- I hope things are going better for you. Good luck to all Wednesday weighers!

Good Morning all,
I'm also going to print the poem out. It hits home with me! Thanks for sharing it with us. I guess I better get up and get to moving. I need to go walk on the machine. I got this recipe this morning from Hungry Girl. It looks good and I may give it a try soon. Everyone have a great spring day!!! ![]() HG's Apple Cobbler The Apple of Our Eye Attention, Fiber One skeptics! We DARE you to try this recipe and not love it. Okay, if you're absolutely opposed to using F1 for baking, leave it out and double the graham cracker amount instead (each serving will then have 141 calories, 1g fat, 2.25g fiber and a POINTS® value of 2*). BTW, try spooning some of this stuff on top of light vanilla ice cream or yogurt... IT ROCKS!!! Ingredients: 3 cups peeled apple chunks (any sweet, not tart, variety) 1/2 cup Fiber One bran cereal (original) 2 sheets (8 crackers) low-fat honey graham crackers 2 tbsp. fat-free liquid egg substitute 2 tbsp. no-sugar-added applesauce 3 tbsp. Splenda No Calorie Sweetener (granulated), divided 2 tbsp. brown sugar (not packed) 1 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tsp. cinnamon, divided 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. salt Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine 2/3 cup of cold water with brown sugar, cornstarch, 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon, vanilla extract, salt, and 1 tbsp. of the Splenda. Stir well. In a medium-sized pot, combine apple chunks with this mixture. Heat the apple mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Once liquid thickens to a syrupy consistency and begins to bubble, reduce heat to low and cover. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes, and then transfer mixture to a medium-sized round baking dish. Set aside. Next, break graham crackers into small pieces. Place graham pieces and Fiber One in a blender or food processor, and grind to a breadcrumb-like consistency. Transfer crumbs to a microwave-safe dish, and add egg substitute, applesauce, 1 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon, and the remaining 2 tbsp. of Splenda. Stir well. Microwave graham mixture for 1 minute. Use a fork to break up the toughened mixture as much as possible, and then allow it to cool for a few minutes. Transfer graham mixture to a food processor or blender, and pulse until crumbly and uniform. Evenly distribute graham topping over apple mixture. Place the dish in the oven, and bake for 10 minutes. Allow cobbler to cool slightly before serving. MAKES 4 SERVINGS Serving Size: 1/4th of cobbler (about 1 cup) Calories: 126 Fat: 1g Sodium: 236mg Carbs: 33g Fiber: 5.5g Sugars: 16g Protein: 2g POINTS® value 2*

Reg, Well - yes, those bars do taste a lot like banana, so I could see if you don't like bananas that you wouldn't like them. I do love bananas, choc, pb - so I do like those little bars and my kids like em too! You got some cool stuff there Reg. Is the Fiber One Raisin Bread new???? I've never seen it before!!! |
