The kids and I are going visiting today on the last day of our Easter vacation, so we'll be out most of the day.

After our lunch visit (they are bringing in Pizza, I packed my lunch) we will be hitting Trader Joes for a few items.

Have a nice day all !!

"See" you la8r !!

Congrats to all the Losers!!! Yeah!!!

Nana Susie - That recipe sounds very good, I might try it today! I do LOVE peanut butter, bananas and chocolate. I sometimes make a chocolate/pb/banana smoothie and it comes out tasting very good. I bet this would have similar taste - just in the form of a bar. I don't have Grape Nuts and don't really like those. I was wondering if there's another cereal I can use in place of it. I do have Kashi go lean crunch and do have fiber one. Maybe I can try using one of those. OOOHHH, can't wait to try this, Thanks Nana Susie!!!!

Oraki - I hope things get better for you real soon!!!

Reg - Yeah, if you try more water, watch the sodium intake a bit and try not to go too low in points for too many days in a row - I think it should help.

Hey Reg! Those are the recipes! I downloaded them off the WW website. I highly recommend both of them. Tomorrow we are having Shepherd's Pie from the WW site.

I have to gear myself up to go running. I have been doing this new thing to maximize points. I have been running for 20 minutes for 3 points, then when I get home, I walk for another 30 minutes for 2 points. That is a total of 5 points of AP every day I do this! That being said, I think I will get ready to go to the park, because time's a wastin'!

Good luck to all Tuesday and Wednesday weighers! We rock!

I made the paprika chicken.........HOLY, that was great !! I did use FF saltines instead of regular so I'm hoping I saved a few points, because I had 2 pieces.

The only thing I'd do differently next time is run the saltines in the food processor to get rid of the chunks.

Thanks for the suggestion !! I will tell my group about them tomorrow (if I remember to bring the sheet)

Reg,

Skinny vibes to you for weigh in tomorrow my friend.

I pulled a Reg today and stepped on the scale and the news will not be good Thursday for sure. I was up 2.5 pounds. Maybe by Thursday I can shed part of it.

I do not know why I weighed. I only exercised Monday because I got paid too.
My eating has not been the best. I have unleashed the big sodium monster in me.

My meeting status for tomorrow may be messed up. I usually go to the 12:15, but I have a friend dying in the hospital and I should probably get up there.

There is a 10:15 meeting ......maybe I should just go to that one.

Reg - Good Luck with your weigh in tomorrow!!! Hope you have great results!!!

Nana Susie - I did try that bar. I separated half of it and mixed in original fiber one and it was really good! Had such a nice crunch to it. I really love peanut butter and chocolate and banana. The other half, I mixed in rice krispy cereal and that was really good too! Reminded me more of a rice krispy treat, which I LOVE! In fact, on easter my SIL and I made Rice Krispy treats - but I only ate 1/2 piece because I don't like the fact that it's loaded with sugar from the marshmallows. I don't do low carb anymore, but I still try not to have too many sugary treats. Anyway, it would be great if I could make my own sugar free marshmallow fluff or something else to use in place of the regular marshmallows so I can make rice krispy treats. Do you happen to have any ideas?

Thanks again Nana Susie for the recipe idea! I will make these ahead of time and keep em in the freezer for nice snacks and homemade bars of my own!

I also experimented with another bar - just because I do try to eat flaxmeal, fiberone, walnuts and oatmeal everyday because they're good for us and have a lot of fiber. Well, somedays I just don't have a lot of time to make a bowl of hot oatmeal and add all this stuff to it and then eat it. so, I made another bar -using 1/4 c. oatmeal (cooked), 1 T. pb, 2 T. flaxmeal, 1/2 banana, 1 t. walnuts, 1/2 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder, 1 T. cocoa powder and 1/4 c. fiber one. I mixed that all together and froze it for about an hour. Came out to be a real big bar and the points are high - about 7, but it takes place of my 2 oils you need everyday and it has about 18 grams of fiber in it as well. I might omit the pb next time to make it about 5 points per bar. It will make things so much easier for me to just grab this bar - and I love it that it's loaded with fiber, good fats and protein!

Nana Susie - I'm so glad you love it and thank-you for the kind words!!!

I just started WW on March 1st and I really love it too!!! I did low carb since October and kind of had a stall for a few weeks and didn't know what I wanted to do anymore. I've been to WW meetings before and have always loved them! I love the support and seeing everyone and their success stories! I also needed someone to tell me how much I should be eating each day and what types of foods. I guess I was a bit burnt out from dieting, lol! I'm so glad I started WW! I've lost 4.8 pounds since March 1st - which isn't much, but I was at a stall before I started, so I was thrilled the scale even moved at all! I also have used my 35 WPA for 2 weeks - and have learned now that I can't use all of those. If I do, I gain a few pounds after using them and have to try very hard the rest of the week to lose that weight and more to have a good weigh in on saturdays.

But, now I figured this out - and I won't be making this mistake again. I hope to have even better losses now.
