Eat Right 4 Blood Type

This Thread is for anyone using the WOE that is explained in the book by Dr Peter D'Adamo. I am personally a Type "O" and basically have to eat red meat and veggies (low carb). I am excited about trying this WOE and believe it will help get me in better health and spirit. Please join in if you'd like. I'll continue to post here as long as I am following this woe.

Tomorrow I will weigh in and also start my exercise program beginning with elliptical work out of at least 20min. I will also post my food consumtion at the end of the day (7pm). I am looking forward to this way of life.

WOE: Low Carb High Fat (Rosedale)
You should do fine!

You're type O. I followed the diet for four years and gave up. I'm type A. Way too high in carbs for type A's. O's had much better luck though than A's.

I'm just getting over a major blunder in my food. My BFF made X-mas treats and almond biscotti was one of them. I binged on them and had a reaction in my digestive tract. I have a very strong intolerance to almonds. So now I am on a "soft" "O" type diet. I am eating liquid stuff and oatmeal today. I believe tomorrow I will begin a stronger "O" with the red meats and good veggies. I will keep posting! Thanks for checking this out with me.

Txtapper- How did you feel and do while on this WOE?

I am a type A. I was not able to lose on this woe. My mom is a type O and did fabulous, though!

I felt like I was constantly trying to find a way to keep my weight down and Im not overweight a bit. It just didn't work for me. A's are not supposed to have very much protein in the form of animals. Beans don't give me enough energy.
