I don't really know much about the deal a meal program, but I like Richard Simmons, and I use his exercise tapes! I can't even think about exercising
with skinny people
I have read his book-I just think he's a very giving caring person.
GOOD LUCK!

Well....I got everything I have of his from thrift stores
I have 4 or 5 of his videos, and found his book just last week! I go to alot of them-do you have any in your area? Honestly, you can find lots of diet related things there, because so many people give up and get rid......I keep a stash of Dr atkins books to give to people who are interested in this life style. I have probably bought about ten of them at different places for no more than 50 cents each

I don't have any duplicates right now, but I will keep my eye out for you. I have seen some, but didn't buy them because I didn't need them. If I go back, (when is a better word) I will get them for you-shipping can't be that bad. Just across the gulf
Someone once told me they are also on e-bay, although I have never checked them out.

I used to have deal-a-meal. Less food altogether, a certain amount from every food group every day. Sounds like a good plan

I know this is not helpful, but have to say, I have known some who have done really well on his diet. So Good Luck!!!! Had to say that because I had a hard time with the plan when my sister and I tried it, way back in the day.

The problem was: You get certain foods on certain cards. I remember the infomercial saying, and when you are done with the cards, you are done eating for the day!!! Like that was a bonus. I would use up my cards too early in the day, because I was hungry.

how many freebies can you have? I know that freebie implies free but I can eat a lot of celery with peanut butter on it, what is the limit?

I honestly don't remember what I ate, just was hungry. Probably did not indulge in too much freebie stuff. Long time ago. It sounds like you are liking it. Great for you. Like I said, I have known several people who lost well following it.

Hey- I found another one of his books for 25 cents! If you want it, just pm me with your address and I'll send it when I get home (getting ready to go on vacation for a week) It is his "Never say Diet" book. It's pretty old, but a good read, it had his story and exercises and stuff-let me know!

I have his Farewell to Fat cookbook. You can have it. I've had it for 10 years now and never once used it. Has some good sounding recipes, but low fat makes me fatter for some reason.

Anyways, let me know if you want it.

I did DAL in 1997 and lost 26 pounds my first month. Unfortunately I stopped doing that diet (for some unknown reason I still cannot figure out) and regained the 26 pounds.
I'd love to do it again if I knew what was on the cards.

I didn't make it to the post office today. I babysit kids until 3:30 or so and the post office closes at 4 pm. She ran late today so I didn't even get out of the house until 4:30.

I will make it tomorrow though.
