you can use a bit of butter if you desire and you can have some mayo. it may or may not effect you
the idea is to stay as close to the guidelines as possible

it does work

good luck

* also you can search for ME fast and get the info there or kimkins*

Um you arent supposed to use any unneccisary fats..... butter, mayo ect..

If you make eggs use pam, if you HAVE to have mayo, use just enough to make it work........... meat and eggs is supposed to be lean meats and eggs.

Hope that helps.

Check out the kimmers experiment thread it explains it better on there.

actually it's the kimmer experiment version of meat and eggs (K/E) that stresses minimal butter/mayo and lean meats

plenty of people do a regular meat and eggs fast (M/E) with a "normal" amount of fats added for saiety

so it really just depends on what you're looking for...people lose well on both!

You are right....

That is why I told her to check out the kimmers experiment thread.
Lots of people do lose better with more fats..... I am one of them!

honestly, i think it depends on personal food preferences etc.

"for me"...when i had my most weight to lose...i did just fine on regular 'ole meat and eggs...any kind of meat and mayo etc. for devilled eggs...even some cheese...none of that stalled me...quick ketosis and it was all good

as i get closer to goal weight, i'm having to watch calories more and am MUCH more aware of calories and fat than before. still quick ketosis and this is all good too...just in a different way! (fortunately i like chicken & tuna, lol)

on M/E...i did any kind, though wings tend to make me retain water

on K/E...always lean, although occasionally w/bacon

I am cheering you on!

As I understand it - K/E is Carbs and Calories. That is the reason for the lean meats. You asked about mayo - mayo is 100 cal per serving ...so you can decide if it is worth it - for me I would rather have another HB egg it will do a better job of supressing & satisfying my appetite. Same thing with butter.

I am staying under 1000 calories on my K/E, & it works!

good luck we are all rooting for ya
