Does anybody here do Weight Watchers?
I am thinking of joining this week and just wondered if anyone here does it. I wouldn't leave this board for anything but I just wondered if Weight Watchers has a low carb version or how it working now. I wish i could make this Adkin's work again for me but I just getting bored with the food too fast to lose what I need too and it's tempting me to cheat. I have to do something though so i thought about WW> Insite Please!!

Hi. I'm new to the board, and was just about to post an introduction when I saw your post. I am a member of WW--have been for about 4 years now. They recently introduced a "low carb" program called the "Core Plan." But it's way more restrictive than the real thing. You basically have a list of approved foods (lean meats, fat free dairy, fat free salad dressings, vegetables) and if you want to eat any carbs, you have 35 "points" per week that you can spend on such foods. People who do it seem to like it, but I hate fat free anything (except skim milk). So, I've decided to return to the LC woe, which is the only thing that works for me. Unfortunately, I joined WW at work about 4 weeks ago, so I still go and weigh in an attend the meetings. I feel like a fraud in some ways, but I paid the fee. I'm hoping to get something useful that I can apply to my new woe. Since I'm PCOS and IR, I really need to keep to a real LC regime for my health. WW is nice in theory, but when I do it (I followed the flex plan), I am hungry all the time because I seem to eat nothing but carbs (since they are the lowest in points).
