The 'views' field
I wonder why there are not enough spaces in the 'views' field to accurately state the number of hits. The Ask Kimmer thread lists 4,000+. Wasn't it over 100,000? The other alternative forums like South Beach have more spaces.

It's not a matter of allocating spaces. Sometimes when threads are moved to a different forum, the number of views gets reset. I think it should be around 100,000 right now, but the views number isn't all that meaningful since lots of search engines and other bots are constantly visiting the pages in addition to people.
