Anyone try egg fast?

I'm thinking of trying egg fast for about 3 day and wanted to see if anyone has tried it and what kind of results you've had. I've done the m/e fast and it pulled me out of a stall, but wanted to see if maybe doing egg fast might give me better results with a few extra pounds lost. Also how many eggs did you have during the day, I don't seem to get full with just eggs.

I love the egg fast. I usually end up eating about 8- eggs a day because eggs do fill me up. Don't worry you can't eat too many. Usually I'll start with the egg fast a day or two then mix in some meat for one meal for a few more days. Works great.

Thanks Connie I will give it a try Also did the egg fast help you lose a few extra pounds? I'm trying to fit into a dress size 12 for a wedding on May 6 currently I wear 13/14. I don't mind losing slow which I normally do, I just love this dress and would like to be able to wear it this day.

This certainly is a great time of the year to do an egg fast. Get the dye/colors from the market now and color them. That will add interest to your fast.

Put your eggs in a blender and beat the heck out of them, add lots of air. Two eggs will fill you up. but you'll still get tired of eggs pertty fast.

Sounds like everyone that tried the fast got tired of them pretty quick, I will use lots of Tabasco sauce I love the stuff and see if I can do it for 3 days. I hadn't thought about whipping them but will do that, I've had them like that before and it puffs them up feels like your eating alot more egg.

I was considering doing this but everyday when I woke up and thought about starting the egg fast, I didn't. I do eat a lot more eggs though, they really fill me up.

right now i'm actually eating eggs 2x a day
and then lean protein and a salad for dinner
i'm always full and the weight is coming off much quicker than a couple weeks ago

so eggs 2x a day= good
eggs 3x a day = bad

Find a recipe for eggdrop soup. I tried it for the first time this week and am addicted.

The one I have been using : I can chicken broth
2 or three eggs beaten
1T sesame or olive oil
salt, pepper, chives, too taste

bring soup to boil remove from heat. Drop pieces of beaten egg into hot soup. The egg will rise and cook immediately. If the egg isn't cooking return to heat just long enough to get it heating again.
Sometimes I get lazy and just dump a lot of the egg mixture in at once and it ends up looking creamy but it is still super tasty.

I love eggs, and never get sick of them!!

Egg fast works to get extras off, then incorporate veggies again slowly

Fastest way to ketosis I know of! I started my "current campaign" to get to goal with a 3 day egg fast. Boy, veggies sure are attractive by the end of that 3rd day! Altho to be honest, I do love eggs--they are so very versatile.

Yes, and it works great!

I love eggs, so this is NO problem for me. Yum!

Very filling, satisfying.

I eat eggs all the time. Probably a minimum of 4 a day.
