Who's using Organic Apple Cider Vinegar to lose weight??

I just started drinking ACV on Monday 7/25 to help loose some weight. I also have switched to organic foods as much as possible. I do wii fitness for exercise and drink plenty of water. Was on BP meds but the ACV dropped bp so low the first day I had to discontinue the meds (which doesn't bother me one bit). I'm looking for others that are using or have had success with ACV, im taking Braggs, please tell me your success stories health or weight loss!

It doesn't cause weight loss at all for me but does help my complexion.

Just curious, is this the kind with the "mother" and how are you drinking it to get it to taste ok?

I'm making shrub with Bragg's apple cider vinegar, and it's getting me through the heat wave. Crush some berries (or ginger, or lemon peel...there's lots of recipes on line) in ACV and let it sit in your fridge a few days. Add sweetener of your choice. Then pour a tall glass of club soda or seltzer over ice and dribble in @ 2 T of the strained syrup. You'll have to experiment to find the ratio that works best for you, but it's not that hard to add some extra sweetener or an extra splash of the syrup to find your preference. It's certainly refreshing, but I swear it has some kind of extra magic when it's hot and humid outside - I've been working on the farm in temps in the 90's for two miserable weeks now, and I'm doing fairly well with it. Shrub is a drink from the 19th century, possibly earlier - it's what our ancestors who didn't have access to citrus would have used for refreshment.

I've been drinking it with organic apple juice, orange juice or just plain water with lemon. My hubby told me today that it looks like i dropped a couple of pounds but im not sure because i haven't bought another scale yet.

I find it refreshing! I add 1-2T of bragg's, a little mortons light salt, some lemon juice and a few drops of stevia to a 32oz bottle of water. Very cold and better than a "sports drink"

I am so glad I saw your thread. I had forgotten I was consuming Bragg Organic Raw~unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar!!!

I stopped when I changed over to the new book that was printed after Dr. Atkins died, the nany.

When I read all the health benefits, I was won over easily. Then to see Hippocrates" The Father Of Medicine" used it for it's amazing natural cleansing, healthy, and energizing health qualities, well I got a bottle. My son had told me about it, but I had not gotten any of it yet! After the first bottle was gone I told my husband I was out. He went to the store and got me 3 three quarts!!!

I have never drank it. A friend told me many years ago it helped her keep her blood sugar low. I kind of said that's good and forgot about it. When I started doing Atkins 72 in March I started using it to make my own salad dressing.

The Potassium in it is most likely the reason it helped the other person stay hydrated in this heat!

When I swiched over to nany I had already lost 39 pounds. In the same amount of time as I lost the 39, on nany I lost 5 big huge pounds!

I am working to get back on track. I'm working hard!!!

After my complete 7 days with zero carbs, I will be sure to add the Bragg back to my diet!! I know it has no carbs. I am just going to wait until my first 7 days have passed.

I showed it to a few friends. As soon as they saw the mother moving around on the bottom they acted like they were going to throw up....I said that's okay, I didn't want to share anyway!

It really lowered your blood pressure? That fast!

Will you please tell me how much you are drinking in a day?
Thanks,
marylouise'

I notice that it gives me more energy and when I take it when still follow my healthy eating plan, i do lose more weight and inches a bit more. I drink the capsule though, I only use bragg's on my salad.

Can you buy Bragg's at one of the large chain grocery stores or only at a health food store or online?

It's available at most grocery stores, wal-mart, etc. Just check the organic and natural foods aisles

I've also just started back using coconut oil too, and I feel so energized during the day. I'm more regular, and my appetite for snacking has improved! Hoping to get down to 200lbs. by next year.

Here is a link to an article about the positive effects it can have on your
blood sugar. I hope I don't offend anyone by posting these links but after
I found out how to do this I kind of like doing it. But I am a diabetic and like
this article points out it does help me manage my blood sugar.

I would love to partake in a little Braggs everyday, but I've finally admitted that there's no way for me to choke it down. My husband just swigs it. lol
