Bragg and Apple Cider Vinegar

I have been reading over the time that I have been coming to this site about benefits of ACV and decided to check it out. While at the bookstore a couple of weeks ago, I picked up Apple Cider Vinegar: Miracle Health System by Bragg. I about fell off my chair when the authors of this book touted vegetarianism. What the hey? I guess, if I can get past that part of the book and look at the bennies of the vinegar of which they repeat over and over and could have complied into less pages, then I can see how vinegar is useful.

I bought some of their vinegar at a local creamery this last weekend too.

Anyone ever read this book or any of their others, comments?

I haven't read their book, but love the vinegar! I just use it as any other apple cider vinegar though (mostly for salad dressing, and I add about 1/2 cup to my bone broths before simmering to make stock). I did try putting a TBS in water as a drink 2X a day, but didn't like the taste and didn't notice any differences in how I felt. Tried it for a month and stopped (that stuff is kind of pricey). I started brewing/fermenting Kombucha instead.

I've started putting a tablespoon of this in a cup of cranberry apple herb tea before bed every night. Don't know if it's doing anything great for me, but it's tasty and soothing as a bedtime drink.

Eden's Apple Cider Vinegar has the best flavor and easier to get down than Bragg, IMO.

You can buy this at Whole Foods for about $3.49 a bottle.

I'm a big fan of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar. I drink it everyday and it helps alot with my acid reflux. I'm not a vegetarian, nor have I read their book, but it seems to work well for me... I've been off of Nexium and/or Prilosec for about four years now. Good luck.

Next time I place an order with Tropical Traditions I'm going to order their coconut water vinegar. It is raw and un-pasteurized.

I found it on the internet. It's now my desktop screensaver. It will remind me of what can happen if I don't take care.

Thank you!!

That is a good idea about using it as a screen saver.

It's a great book...just ignore the vegetarian recommendations. Patricia Bragg is a trip....she's one of my FB friends....
