Rapunzel Organic Cocoa Powder...good!
With the cold weather coming on, I decided to try and make a cup of hot cocoa instead of the usual gallons of iced tea but didn't have any cocoa powder in the house. I read the labels of all the cocoas at my local store and found one to be intriguing--Rapunzel Organic. Interestingly, the cocoa is a "product of Germany". The label says that one tablespoon has only 10 cals, less than a gram of carb and less than a gram of fat (and one gram protein and 1 fiber). Anyway, I tried it out, using 2 teaspoons in a big cup of hot water, with about six drops of stevia. I then added a T. of heavy cream. It is Really Good!! This is the first time I've tried to hunt down cocoa powder just for drinking. Any comments on organic cocoa of other brands or types from anyone?

I've had that brand too. I've used it in my egg creams and I agree, it's delicious!

I made some cold chocolate "drink" today out of the Rapunzel..it's really good..sort of like that Yo-hoo drink that comes in bottles. I put 1 tablespoon in a quart jar of hot water then added about 16 drops of stevia. Then I put it in the refrigerator till it was cold. Then I added 1 T heavy cream and stirred it. It's worthwhile..especially if you are like me and don't like plain water all that much!
