So beautiful little eggs

A co-worker raises chickens, a lot of other critters too, she came to work yesterday and was selling these gorgeous eggs. The were like gigantic oval pearls. The shells were beautiful. The yellow yolks, OMG, deep deep yellow and huge.
How'd they taste you wonder? Any difference from conventional eggs? Oh yes, lovely, tender, geez how actually do you describe a yummy egg?!
We had eggs for supper last nite. DH was a little disappointed, he wanted chicken...I said you're having chicken dummy!

I haven't sprung for the organic eggs yet but have gotten the cage-free; no hormones; natural feed eggs and they are definitely better than regular store eggs. I can't describe either but they do seem 'creamier' and fresher.
