side dishes for salmon patties

I am making salmon patties for supper tonight. I used to fix rice (or biscuits) and gravy, green peas and another veggie with them. I am having trouble deciding what sides to make. I need some inspiration....what are your ideas?

I often make zucchini 'noodles' to go with salmon. A salad is always good too. I also love dill sauce on salmon. Mashed, riced or roasted cauli is also great.

You could do steamed broccoli smothered in butter... or smothered in melted cheese.

You might try puree of cauliflower with smoked gouda or with other cheese and a little crumbled bacon.

Thanks. Good ideas. I should have added I eat broccoli or cauliflower almost every night. I have fresh squash now since my neighbor stopped by. I will cook that and either broccoli or green beans. Maybe slice a cucumber.
