VICES... YUCK!

I think I realized that the caffeine and diet soda are culprits for me. My tummy was huge today.. and I am hoping that the 2 small amounts of butter did not cause me to be so bloated?

What do you guys think?

I honestly don't see how butter could give you bloat.... not sure about caffeine. I personally love both butter and caffeine. I even bought MIO with caffeine and crystal light with caffeine for my water... in addition to full caf coffee and tea.

I have not had soda/carbonated beverages on more than a handful of occasions over the last 15 years- the carbonation always makes me feel bloated and yucky.

Peace... I wanted to add... if you are lactose intolerant then most dairy products (including butter) can cause bloat.

But... I do know that diet soda can cause bloat.

Sorry, still don't know about caffeine.

I think you are right. I did not feel this way when I did not have butter.

Interesting. I am going back to complete dairy free.

I am taking an enzyme that has milk in it. but, for some reason, I don't think that it effects me too much.

Done with dairy, done with the soda, now I can move forward.

We will see...

Hey Peace, people that can't do dairy do use ghee. Clarified butter. Takes all the milk solids out of it and it's shelf stable. Might be an option for adding fat and cooking.

If you really want to know which is causing the bloat, cut them both out for a week and then add back only one. Say a soda or two one day. See what happens. If you aren't bloated it could be the dairy.

I think I might have to return the hcl with milk? That is a little frustrating cause I feel like it helped!
