Heartburn and coconut oil?
I have been having a lot of heartburn since starting the use of it. Anyone else? Any remedies?

I had horrible heartburn and major anxiety issues when I first started it. My suggestion, which I got from here, is to back down to one tsp per day and very slowly work up to more. It really does help. Just an FYI: some people have had a truly bad experience with CO and can't eat it because of an intolerance or allergy. Just go slowly to make sure you aren't having a more serious issue. I can easily eat two or three tbsp per day now with no issues.

Thank you! I am loving the energy from the bpc in the mornings so I really want to adjust. Would you happen to know if baking soda and water could affect ketosis?

It shouldn't but might make you retain some fluid.

I would do as suggested which is to start off very small and work your way up. Usually heartburn is an issue with low digestive enzymes but they will self correct if you don't take otc or homemade remedies. Cut back and let your body adjust without baking soda.

Try ladies. I cut out the hwc from my coffee and it has been better. I have used hwc for a long but maybe all the added fat is a bit much. Hope I can add it back soon, Love it in my coffee.

Thank you both your great!

Dairy gives me horrible heartburn, even HWC. But I want something white in my coffee. I find I'm OK with coconut milk (the canned kind) and coconut oil. It really needs both, coconut milk alone is not so nice. Blend it up with a tiny frother or a hand blender.

I will try that, thank you!
