Help?

So after almost a week of good low carbing, I had too many glasses of wine last night and had a small bag of pretzels (70g of carbs just for that alone!).

What's the fastest I can get back to ketosis? I'm still waiting on my ketostix to arrive from Amazon. I had BPC coffee and an egg fried in butter this morning. I'm trying to go today with another BPC for lunch, then eggs for dinner, keeping the cals, carbs, and protein down. Do you think this would help?

Hi kwerp!

I would just go back to LC eating, drink plenty of water and be patient. It will probably/hopefully take a day or three to get back into ketosis.

I wouldn't necessarily keep the cals down, that doesn't get you into ketosis faster. Just stick with what works for you and you'll see that you'll get back on track soon!

I would not drink alcohol for now, maybe keep that for when you are maintaining?

Thanks. I just got my ketostix. It looks like I'm just under 0.4, so while I'm not entirely in ketosis, it looks like I'm not too bad off?
Hopefully it'll be better tonight. I'll have a nice fry up tonight of eggs and bacon when I get home.
