Warmer rather than cold?

Hi,
Just adjusting to NK, I've been solidly low-carb for about a week now. I also get to the gym for low impact cardio most days of the week. And I'm on my feet a lot during the day, so I don't have a typical desk job.

My question is this: despite it being winter, I feel like my body is running warmer than usual? Normally I have poor circulation, but it doesn't seem to be bothering me as much. The DH is complaining constantly about being cold, and I'm wondering what he's moaning about.

I read that some people are cold during the first few days of getting keto adapted, so I'm wondering if I'm a freak in this regard, or if it's a sign I'm not in ketosis? I finally bought some strips off Amazon because I couldn't find them in any pharmacies, but my carbs are consistently under 20 total, maybe a few days net.

I think the fat you eat will make you feel warmer.

I'm pretty much always cold right now. I was joking with co-workers that I'll be bringing an electric blanket to the office

I'm also on the warm side and attribute it to the fat.

I am pretty much always cold. I think this can be attributed to a 'faulty' thryroid. Yours may be humming along quite well with the improved nutrition!!

Fat tends to be good insulation.
Despite that, regardless of my weight, I need to keep my feet warm in the winter.
I sleep in socks always in the winter, and that keeps me toasty at night.
If you are chilled a lot, I'd suggest warm socks in the daytime too.
Head coverings too, but the nightcap (not the liquid version) have gone out of fashion.

I'm in the cold camp: The deeper into ketosis I go, the colder I get. I'm pretty much an icicle at this point.

I am always warm when in ketosis. It almost is the way I know I am in ketosis when I feel warm when everyone else is cold around me. I have tested to see if I was in ketosis when I start to feel warm and sure am.
Sometimes I keep drinking very cold water to try to cool off a bit.
