How did you all do with the feasting of yesterday?
Hello all my fellow n.k.ers! Just wondering how you all made out with the t.g. feast? I am Canadian so didn't have the feast yesterday (last month) but always love to hear how people made out? Good, bad or otherwise!

I did great, Cathy. Thanks for asking.
My feast was an organic turkey (bought from a former student no less). I ate a drumstick, wing, and a bit of thigh. It was a small turkey, though.
And a medley of roasted broccoli, cauliflower and brussells sprouts.
Didn't eat until later, though. That's the sacrifice for getting my husband to do the roasting. I started the day with some sage sausage and an egg, had three cups of coffee over the day (with 1 T CO per cup), and nibbled on some cheese in the afternoon and one beef stick to stave off late afternoon hunger. Keep my carbs down for sure. My weight loss has been stalled, but I sure didn't gain any.

I did well too, stayed on plan, like I wanted. Got home and was hungry, so I made some jalapeņo poppers. Overall, it was a good day and I have no food regrets!

I did all right. Now I have a fridge full of left overs I shouldn't eat.
That may be my bigger challenge.
The low carb pecan pie was a hit and no one noticed it was different.

Things went well yesterday. I allowed for some NK friendly indulgences. Ate more cheese than I normally do. Ate some keto mug cake, and ate peanut butter. Kept away from the sweets, starches, and breads, so I feel great. :)

I did good but couldn't eat most of the food at the 3 thanksgivings my husband and I attended. Then, when people notice I only had turkey and deviled eggs on my plate they start questioning my diet...I've been on a keto diet since the end if September and I am so annoyed with always having to explain myself! I'm kind of glad it's over for now!!

Yaaaa! Sounds like a successful thanksgiving!! Looking forward to Christmas myself. I make eggs Benedict for (sans the bun) and make sure I have my l/c cranberry sauce for dinner. I may make a cheesecake as well.

I don't change my food plan for holidays. :) I really like my regular food, and the benefits of my food plan. Going off-plan in amounts or content jeopardizes those benefits. The line in the sand has a bit of flexibility, but, for me, much of that line is etched in stone. :) VLC is the grandest!
