Hey there N.K. folks, it's SATURDAY! What are you eating?
Recent Saturdays I have been going to the farmer's market for local produce but today, I am skipping it because I have tomatoes from my garden over flowing. Any veg I might have this week will be tomatoes. ;) So here is my plan for today.
bpc and 1 coffee/hwc
bacon, tomato, mayo wrapped in a Romaine leaf
Salmon tango with dill sauce and a side of sauerkraut
Carbon copy of yesterday.:)
I have no clue yet as I just woke up.
Right now I"m enjoying my coffee/cream.
I do need to make a new batch of mayo (yummy fatty goodness.) I'll post again as the day progresses.
Oh, I have a lot of shiratake mushrooms in the fridge I might cook up for lunch, mushrooms are great for absorbing oils too.
I'm trying to keep my carbs as low as possible through the day because I'm going to a friend's house for dinner. She's serving spaghetti, and I'll take along some shiritake noodles, but after looking at the carb content of commercial tomato sauce, I'm not sure what to expect from dinner, carb-wise. I'm also taking a low-carb cheesecake to share...limits the damage, and makes people happy.

L: pork rind nachos
D: shiritake spaghetti with meat sauce, possibly salad, LC cheesecake
I had a skillet meal with ground beef, precooked greens, cheese, and Worcestershire sauce for brunch. I think I'm going to have pork chops for dinner, but I'm not sure yet.
Breakfast was 2 pancakes i made with coconut flour, flax and shredded coconut. I made an egg and made an egg sandwich out of it and put some sf strawberry jam in the middle. It was really good. I cooked the pancakes in ghee! So tasty
lunch was kfc - grilled breast and wing with double green beans.
dinner will be cooked up smoked sausage bought at the health food store, im gonna cook it up with peppers and onions. The man will have some dirty rice with his. I'll have a salad.
