My goal in cooking is to make it quick & easy so I can get out of the kitchen! I rarely use recipes & run from anything requiring lots of ingredients. My meals are simple & satisfying.

I usually eat 3 meals per day, sometimes only two when I get busy and/or forget. I do not usually snack at all.

  • Right before breakfast: Sole Salt Water (1 cup water with 1/2 T water that is saturated with Himalayan Pink Salt). I've been doing this since 6/19/14. Sole water is supposed to have lots of benefits but I have not noticed a single one. Maybe I am just missing them?
  • Breakfast: Bacon & eggs, a large glass of water, coffee (flavored beans) w/stevia
  • Coffee Break: 1 mug BPC hybrid - not really BPC but coffee w/1 T MCT & 1 T coconut oil blended in Vanilla Biscotti flavor coffee. My body reacts well to MCTs & I like the flavor my coconut oil adds to coffee (oddly, it does not make my food taste like coconut). I love my Smart Stick blender!
I rarely add anything to my coffee other than stevia powder extract but I've been thinking I "should" lol... add some healthy fats once to a cup of coffee in a while. BPC does not work for me as a meal; too much fat without sufficient protein just makes me ravenous.
  • Lunch: Calf liver & onions, sauteed broccoli & cauliflower
  • Dinner: Chicken breast/veggie stirfry
  • Beverages: I'll drink about a gallon of plain water today, 3 mugs of coffee, maybe a tall glass of iced tea this afternoon.

L--100g.chicken + 100g. broccoli + 12oz. broth/guar gum to thicken the stew + spices/nutritional yeast
D--planning on....big/large salad/2T. buttermilk ranch + ground beef/onions

If I need snack somewhere in there, it will be the "Krazy Kracker Lady's Chips"...homemade/dehydrator with sour cream dip. They really satisfy the desire for crunch snack!

Thanks! I think you are right. At the moment anyway, I'm not hungry. Here's the plan for today

B - home made sf vanilla iced blended coffee and 2 slices bacon

Hi! I don't pop in here much, but I thought it would be a good place for this question: what can I carry in my purse that won't go bad, that would be a good snack? The other day I ended up shopping for much longer than I had planned. When I got home, I was cranky and starving, and ate too much. I'd like to carry something with me that would give me protein and fat, that would sustain me in case this happens again. Thanks!

Pecans are something like 87% fat if I remember right, macadamia are about 90%, almonds are pretty good. For protein you can try home made jerky?

Used my new fancy cream whipper to whip some cream for a blended iced BPC. (and top it off!) mm.

maybe I'll make maria emmerich's tapioca pudding later. I have miracle rice and no ideas for it.

Possibly a salmon salad for tomorrow.

As it turned out it was too hot to eat much. Had some Pepperoni slices, BPC, I ate some peanut butter out of the jar, some Cottage Cheese, that has been about it. I'll eat better tomorrow

I'm addition to what I had above, I also added some cottage cheese and a BPC. I was so hungry today and decided that depriving myself wasn't a good idea. I still only had about 1500 calories.
