Just to share an amazing recipe for Alfredo sauce that I was able to portion out to 5 (five) 1/2 cup servings in 1/2 cup canning jars (that's a lot of sauce for a serving). From reading online, it appears that Alfredo freezes well, so this is something I can enjoy for the next couple of weeks. I might be able to stretch one 1/2 cup serving across 2 meals with the shirataki noodles. Or I might just eat it out of the jar. . Dinner, was truly decadent.

1 c butter
1 c HWC
2 c Parmesan cheese
Pureed garlic, salt and pepper to taste

I'm really tired...somewhere I asked about putting CO into tea, and people gave me some great recipes. But, now I can't find it. I'd like to try it (I mixed it in by hand the first time, but it didn't stay mixed--ended up with a puddle of CO at the bottom of my cup).
So, suggestions for me? How much CO in a cup (I usually drink WAY more than a cup!)? And do you add anything else? Thanks!

I use an emersion blender to blend my EVCO + Butter into my coffee....
I would think that you could do the same with tea if that is your preferred hot beverage.
My coffee does not return to the pre-blended state...even to the bottom of the very TALL cup!
I use 1T. EVCO and 1T. butter....to my 12 to 16 oz. cup of coffee.
I also add 1T. S/F Torani's hazelnut...but that is optional.

At night, I sometimes make a fatty tea (credit to Erica for the name - fatty tea, sort of like a fat bomb)

16-20 oz water
2 decaf chai tea bags
1 oz CO
1 T. heavy weight cream

mixing by hand won't do it - you'll need to put it in a blender or use an immersion stick blender. It only takes a few seconds to emulsify, but it makes all the difference.

do you use liquid CO? I assume the solid emulsifies better.

I've been using grass fed butter & liquid CO in my morning coffee, I got fed up using the blender as I don't have an immersion and it's a big waste to have to clean all the time.

Found a little battery powdered latte whipper that works well, it doesn't have blades but as soon as the solids melt in the warm coffee, it froths it up nicely.

Yesterday had a lovely evening hike.

B: bpc
S: celery & natural PB mixed with walden farms PB, a little butter and cc for texture.
S2: broccoli and bleu cheese dressing
L: baby back ribs with some homemade coleslaw and a carbquik biscuit
afternoon snack: russell stover sugar free chocolate egg (still working on that easter "candy")
Dinner post hike: pate with ghee and celery appetizer, half a 7oz burger with bacon and carmelized onions...mm. 2 glasses of vanilla almond milk upon getting home.

They're the same - My CO varies between liquid and solid depending on the temperature in my kitchen. It is solid right now, but the moment you drop it in coffee or tea, it melts and becomes liquid.

Good idea about the latte whipper - that would be one less appliance to clean, especially when I have my BPC in the morning and my fatty tea at night.

I'm sure it's just me, but the thought of heavy cream in tea really grosses me out. I do drink tea, but can only use milk-even half and half makes me gag (and I use it in coffee-the fattier the better!!).

I guess it's probably because I don't especially enjoy the taste of hot tea that much...I drink it when I'm cold, and I got used to drinking it when I was worried about calories. Now I just stick with coffee.

I'm still having trouble with leg cramping - I already use a lot of Lite Salt (Potassium) in cooking and drinks. I will try out taking more Mg supplements with each meal, as well as the single 70mg tab I usually take at night.

B: Satisfying Eats buttermilk pancakes (about 2.5) and a slice of thin cut uncured bacon, lotsa butter, SF mrs. butterworth's.

Snack: 1/2 oz blue cheese. later on while cooking, whole stem and leaves off of cauliflower dipped in blue cheese dressing, half a mini tomato with some mayo slathered on it.

afternoon coffee with heavy whipping cream.

D: jamie oliver's chicken in milk (great recipe, used half and half and water for even lower carbs) over some wilted spring mix with side of cauliflower mash.

evening snack: only had 40-45g protein today! Quickly shook up some leftover black cherry seltzer, an EAS carb control vanilla shake, some gluc, chia powder, and a tsp of almond butter to up my protein and calories.

end of day totals: ~1230 cal, 100g fat, 26 carbs - 12 fiber, 57g protein. (fiber and carb count may be slightly off as I only guess-timated that I ate 3oz of cauliflower stem... lol. nothing that would hurt my macros though.)

@bryce58 - I'm having the same issue and have added magnesium to my supplements

Today I had to smile...
I subscribe to Medscape.
One of their 9-slide weight loss shows today was titled: "Bad Foods That Are Good For Weight Loss"...

Except for the pasta and the sugar in the chocolate...they could have said: "Nutritional Ketosis is a great way to lose weight!"

(but they forgot the bacon!)
