New to Ketogenic eating!
 
Hi there!
I have ALOT to lose, i started out last month at roughly 409 lbs and after 27 days Im at 397----been pretty strictly following LCHF rules--ive got a couple of things against me (other than metobolic syndrome.....) Im 49 and work grave yards--so although its not the big WHOOSH of weight loss i was hoping for at least im going in the right direction. I think i may need to adjust my protein and up my fat......anyhow, any tips etc greatly welcome:)

Make sure you drink lots of water. Also add some extra salt to your diet. Any loss is a good loss. I only lost about 5 pounds the first month that I was on this. I kept adjusting stuff until I now lose consistently. I had to reduce my protein, eat very few carbs and up my fat. Also at your weight, don't reduce your calories too low. Add calories by adding fat. You will lose the weight. It just takes a little longer for some of us.

Welcome babsinwa!!

My tip is to weigh, measure and log your food (there are plenty of on line food trackers). And remember that it is actual grams that you want to pay attention to.
