My first thought to both of you, maybe you could lessen the cocoa then? Also, I went and looked and I used special dark cocoa... but I love the stuff, so maybe thats why I did not notice over "cocoa" flavor, and SF chocolate syrup!! LOL As for the sweet, definitely need to adjust too... I add more than normal, as I like things sweeter than the people with the recipes... I use zsweet drops, so I cannot compare for others what that is with other sweetners...

Also, made the ice cream last night, I thought the flavor was great (although it was really chocolately for some of you then) but it had the "cooling" after effect after like erythritol does..... (I used swerve)... I could have done without that... and i peeked in the freezer, I think its hard.... (really hard) like what happens to LC ice cream when you freeze it.. (sigh)
Oh bummer about the LC ice cream getting really hard! Use the zylitol next time- it is wonderful! Have you ever noticed you Zsweet losing its sweet?
Mine is over a year old and I don't think it is working!

Mine has been in the cabinet in a box for a long time, at least a year, but it was not used yet... and it seems fine... I will try xylitol next time. I like that one alot, but its not "calorie free" so I worry!

Hmm, not sure about that... but I dont usually use it for that reason... too many calories. I think the recipe calls for 1 cup, and makes 8 servings... could be painful!! LOL

Had my oopsie french toast again this morning 87% fat and sooo yummy!!

It's interesting. I'm can maintain on around 2000-2500 calories a day as long as the carbs are below 35 or so grams. Fat and protein are very caloric. That's maintains at like 129-130lbs.
But bc I compete, I want to maintain lower like 126-127lbs, sooooo I will keep carbs low but do more IF to keep calories b/w 1800-2000 calories.

Hi everybody! I'm back!! I went out of town for an impromptu celebration for my DH celebration, and then we had some visitors for work, so I was super busy and couldn't go online much. I did try to stay as low carb/clean eating as possible, but eating out all the time things don't always go perfect, as everybody knows.

So I'm back in the saddle with macronutrient content and all that fun stuff

I couldn't squeeze in a single workout since the 21st, so I'm missing getting my sweat on.

Off to catch up with all the new posts

Hi!

I'll be facing the scale tomorrow. I've been a good girl today. It's great being back on plan and working out. I did along one... hope I don't wake up too sore tomorrow
