But Hey ya know next time

Now you have a super good pair of glasses and you can play around with Zenni.
Their glasses are great but since you cannot try the on in advance it is kinda like a box of chocolates. I got a few pairs I love, Love , Love and 1 pair just didn't suit me. But hey for 20 buck that's a risk you can take
A couple of the $6 frames broke on me too. But the $12 and up seem to be very good. But, the ones that broke, I ordered the frames again, with out the lens it was $3.00, and just popped the lenses into the new frames.
I also always get anti glare on the lenses. $4.95 for anti glare, the Dr office wanted over $40.00 just to add anti glare.

Food Log April 18

I changed my log yesterday, trying to get more calories in and ended up with a lot of fat. Wondering if it is too much fat.
Cals ended up at 1544
130 F 81 P 12 C

I had an egg yolk and 1.5oz cheese in the evening and wow, 130gr of fat . Is that too much?

Today looks like 1349 cals
107 F
85 P
9 C

B: 1T CO, 2 eggs/1yolk, 12gr butter
L: 6.25oz chilli, ground beef/ground chicken
S: 1oz old chedder cheese, 16gr celery, 29gr cucumber, 29gr radish
D: 1T CO, 7oz Rib steak, 100gr Asparagus, 12gr butter
S: ?

Morning all! Yesterday I got my calories closer but protein is still way too high!

1854 cal/32 carb/122 fat/159 protein...hmm, less protein more fat.

Scale showed down 0.2 this morning. Nothing to rave about but considering I have doubled my calories in the last two days, def interesting!

This is like a science experiment!

IMO, 130 grams of fat is a good level actually... I don't remember how much you weigh/what your goal weight is, but I actually eat around 130-some fat grams every day and it's when I lose best

Congrats on the loss! I found that I had to increase my calories in order to lose too actually... that's the really nice thing about LC and NK especially is that you can and SHOULD actually eat more because your body is that much more efficient at metabolizing things once you cut the carbs out it seems.

Definitely work on getting that protein down though! That looks really high to me, but you already seem to know that What I usually do once I've gotten my daily protein in but still need more fat is to have fat bombs... either that or more mugs of bulletproof coffee/tea, or sometimes I even eat butter straight or coconut oil off of a spoon. Yummy!

I usually hate counting calories and keeping track but this is different because I am learning what fuels my body best. There is more of a purpose to it...in my mind anyways!

My problem is that I am coming from Ideal Protein which is low carb, low fat and higher protein and I am still using a few packaged protein products. I need to get those out of my diet and eat more real food and I think things will even out.

I was so happy eating cheese last night!! I had chicken thighs stuffed with provolone and ham and then put some feta on my sauteed kale too! LOL Good thing the CO seems to be keeping things moving!

WI at 140.7, up from yesterday.

Yesterday didn't go as planned.. Way too much cheese and nuts after I drank this CO, spinach, and blackberry smoothie. Although very LC (only 1/2C frozen spinach and 2oz of blackberries), it must have digested too quickly and caused an insulin surge. I was super munchy for the rest of the day.

Today's a new day though and I feel even more confident about this WOL.
Just finished reading Why We Get Fat by Taubes. Great book. Anyone read it?

Stuck to NK foods yesterday but went off plan and stopped measuring foods so WI this morning up a bit but not gonna sweat it since I'm at 170 even and considering the food I ate yesterday I'm ok w/ that LOL. Last night ended up being stressful and I caved to bad habits BUT they were on things like fat bombs and what not.

Found Spectrum Organic Virgin CO this mrng...WOW what a diff - smells/taste SO good. Having in my coffee now for breakfast, yum!!! I will have to search all over town I'm sure for EV CO but this will do for now thanks for the guidance on the CO!
