I'm continuing 5:2 along with NK, and today was my first <500 calorie day of the week. I'm hungry but determined not to blow it, especially after eating 1900 calories yesterday.

I tried going to bed early, but that was a failure so I got up and took my magnesium supplement along with Nu Salt for potassium. I've not had bad leg cramps again since the other night, but can still feel a twinge in my calf muscle. Hopefully I can get to sleep in another hour or so and dream of bacon.

Fat(g)
108.90

Carbs
47.34

prot
71.07

cal
1423

i had to make a smoothie and load it up with flax seed oil and coconut cream to boost my fat intake and still didnt get enough - we may have a problem Huston

ETA - and way not enough protein

this is why i'm stalling isnt it?

I just had to share this. I did my weight training this morning, adding another set to my normal routine, so a little harder than before. Then after a BPC w/1 egg, I went for a 3.5 mile run. And I felt better and stronger than I have since starting this diet plus ran faster This is the beginning of week 6 on this diet for me, and I'm feeling good!

Well, I haven't lost weight quickly--so about 6 lbs total so far. But I've also lost at least 2% body fat. I'll be getting lean body mass and body fat percentages checked next Monday, so I'll have a better idea of whether I've gained lean body mass and lost more fat since the last check 3 weeks ago. I dropped 6 lbs the first 2 weeks on the diet, then gained about 4 of it back and just now getting back down, so I'm hoping it's muscle gain

Well, good morning everyone! I'm FINALLY back home and out of my father's house for the first time in about a month and a half... feels strange to be home!

Here's to hoping I can beat the mental and physical exhaustion I've felt myself being pulled into these past however many days, and I can actually get back into the routine of fixing all my own meals again... a month and a half straight pretty much of being treated to dinners is fantastic and all, but man do I feel rusty in the kitchen motivation department

Weigh-in this morning, 157... still retaining the extra 1/2 pound from my TOM that I haven't gotten rid of yet, but to be fair I just started back on my BC to regulate that yesterday. AND I've been slacking off on my ACV tonics the past few days out of laziness, so I know it's just water weight. Hoping it'll come off now that I'm home and will need to be more aware of what I'm doing

Total carbs.

What is your ideal weight Deb? I can't recall off hand.

Low protein won't stall you. If anything it might trick you into thinking you are losing fat when you are losing some fat and too much LBM.

How about cottage cheese. 1/2 cup is 3 g carbs and under 100 cal. and gets me 13 protein.

That happens to me a lot too Janette. New low then bounce up for a few days then trend back down. Rinse repeat.

Congrats!!!

We are all going to come stay with you till we hit goal weight Becky. You leave, gain a bit, come home and it zips right off. The obvious conclusion is that you live in a magical house.
