Looks like most of you are seeing good results from NK. At 12 weeks in, I feel like I can eat this way for the rest of my life. Not only for weight loss and maintenance, but because I feel so much better on a ketogenic diet.

I made up some more bacon mayo and ranch dressing today. I have gotten the hang of it and it's really good. Too mad I still have to buy the store bought stuff for Daycare.

Does anyone else experience this?
When ever I am losing weight I get an ache in the middle my left side, Front back and side. It's nothing bad that I need to take pain reliever for, it is just a fatigue like ache. It hit me the other day and I was like I know the weight loss is coming. It has been that way my as long as I can remember. I just wondered what it is and if others feel it too.

Cheryl, I get that too! Never connected it with weight loss. The first time it happened in conjunction with ketosis nausea and I FREAKED OUT and thought it was the pain women get when they get pregnant. Phew, false alarm.

Wonder what it is? I got it in every kind of weight loss I have done. Years ago I would fast for days and that was when it would really ache.

You know? That's the way I should start looking at it I always see no change and get almost as disappointed as I would have if I would have noticed a gain. Considering the natural fluctuations that can occur in anyone's body on any given day, I guess seeing the same number over and over again isn't so bad!

...although I would LOVE for the scale to budge at SOME point!

so here is my story since im sure you all missed me yesterday. Lol just kidding.. sorry.

On Saturday we picked my sisters family up from the airport and went to my moms for lunch. It was my day 2 of fat fast, and so my first two meals of the day were good. At my moms, i messed up.. just without thinking, i ate like 1 potato chip and it turned into 10..no big deal, also 1 spoonfull of baked beans.. at least the deli meats were not TOO terrible. Then i had 2 small flourless cookies.. Then i told them i was leaving cuz i started feeling like i was losing control. So for dinner i went back to normal had a FF meal or two. THEN the next morning i was up 1.2 lbs.. Yesterday (saturday) i did FF again in the day, but a higher protein lunch of lots of fish. Today im back down to 322.1 which is lower than my Sat weigh in of 322.5 which was day 1 of FF.. Not sure today if im going to do FF or not. Doesn't matter tho since my FF was still like higher cals..anyway im just ...not sure what im doing lol

edit: im not sure if my weight is down just from creating a deficit of calories or actually that its a FF...
