Hehehe we don't have a publix but we have a little store called Galaxy (very little) and I get excited every Wednesday to see what kinda deals they have. THis week they had Ground beef for $1.98 a lb

Red, have you ever seen American Horror Story? Started watching the first season on Netflix. I WAS SO SCARED. Then it started getting really corny about 8 episodes in. I love Connie Britton though. She was awesome in Friday Night Lights.

falling skies is decent, i used to love walking dead, and still watch it, but its gone downhill big time. I heard american horror story was AWESOME, but havent seen it yet.

Current shows on tv im watching are justified, spartacus, and cant wait for new game of thrones to start..

Lord no! lol I am a complete chicken when it comes to straight out horror.

I make exceptions for post apocalyptic stories and PA zombie stories. And some SF horror. My DMZ is: Is this a PA, PA/ZA, SF story with horror or is this a horror story with PA, PA/ZA, SF? I've started watching stuff before and quit when I realized it was the latter rather than the former.

Yikes, all but 1 kid out with the puke bug today. The other one had it 2 weeks ago.
My belly has been doing summersaults for 2 days.

Today: 194
Ketones: 2.1
Blood Sugar: 90

Ketones went down some and blood sugar was up some. I forgot to defrost my tuna steaks for dinner so went out for a sushi roll. I had plenty of carbs left for the day. No sake bombs this time and only one roll was needed to fill me up.
I still had a rise in blood sugar 1.5 hours later. Was 113. But I guess I'm handling it slightly better because usually it's pret high the next morning too. Guess I didn't do too much damage because I dropped 1.3 pounds too.


Tonight I'm going to a hockey game and have front row corner seats! So excited. Hockey games have always meant a couple of beers and a soft pretzel. Tradition! So I have to resist all that tonight. My strategy is to eat a filling dinner before I go so that I don't even want any of that stuff when I get there. No matter what, I will not get that pretzel and beer. Lol

You haven't read Wheat Belly I take it? Wheat stuff does not tempt me now because so many of my daily health problems evaporated when I quit eating wheat - headaches, heartburn, joint pain. I still get headaches occasionally, like this past week, but it used to be strange not to have at least one headache every couple of days before. Scowl at the wheat vendors while you are there heh.

I have read Wheat Belly. Very eye opening. But red! Soft pretzels!! Lol Also have allergies with shrimp but still eat them along with a Benedryl. Hehehe I'm terrible.

But yeah....wheat is bad stuff. Why does it taste so darn good?!

Hey, thats awesome about the weight loss. Do you know if your sushi joint uses rice wine vinegar with their rice? Could've caused the blood sugar spike.
