.2 again on the ketone meter... i have never been in NK yet..i'd really like to get there.. ;/

Also...weight up again..i didnt even record the number, but its up from yesterday's by about another 1.2 lbs...which was already up 1.2 lbs.. I guess water retention maybe..but not sure why, i'm eating same calories.. lower carb, less protein..higher fat...

oh! and i also forgot to say that im having this like itchyness on the front kind of sides of my neck..the past few days and from scratching its turned into a very mild rash i guess.. I had this once before doing LC..but it was in..other areas down below.. Not sure what it is or whats causing it, but l havent changed anything in my life...food or soap, everythings the same...so no idea.. if it doesnt clear up soon i might have to go to the doc

I doubt two and a half pounds in two days is from gaining fat. Have you been measuring yourself?

What has your calorie average been for the past 7 days?

Weird skin problems seem to go hand in hand with shedding fat, for me at least. It looks similar to the last rash? What was your rash caused by last time?

I had a slight bounce today attributed to yesterday's workout. It was tough - she made us do intervals including burpees, mountain climbers, air squats (fast) and alternating lunges (fast) including all the normal arm/chest/back and ab exercises- my face was on fire after!

I am very much looming forward to when exercise won't feel so hard - was never hard when my carbs were a bit higher.

Yay, Kelly & Cheryl! Keep at it Myles and Teresa (and hang in there for work - you can do it!)

Weigh-in this morning ... 200.4 so I am still bouncing at the 200 mark. I think it is the ribeye that hasn't worked its way through. I'm having another ribeye today (it was a two pack) so I'm curious to see tomorrow's weigh-in.

Hi all! I'm new to this forum and happy to have found it! I actually 100lbs lost this morning when I weighed in at home at 163 (no clothing) and at work weighed in for my employer's biggest loser contest at 164. I'm feeling pretty great! Yesterday was DAY 1 of solid 65/30/5 plan and today will be DAY 2! I've been low carb for a year so trying to change things up and making sure I get enough healthy fats.

Question - I enjoy coffee. I like 2-3 cups instant caffeinated with like 1.5oz HWC per cup and about .5oz splenda flavored syrups...I've been able to see some loss this week and wanted to know if anybody experienced weight loss stall, cut caffeine then saw progress?

Hi robbelkk Welcome to our thread

Wow! And congrats on the 100 pounds!!!

I can't recall any particular post about quitting caffeine to break a stall. Atkins recommended quitting it in his NDR as I recall. Are you sensitive to caffeine? Does it make you jittery or something like that? If you are up for it I guess there is no reason not to try quitting.

Measurements no change.

Calories probably around 2700ish

No ideawhat caused it.

I tried no coffee a while back and I saw no difference. I was glad cause I love, love, love my coffee.

Thank you LOTS! I appreciate that! It was exciting to see this morning. I have hit the 100 mark before but tend to freak out, eat a ton and gain back 10 lbs...SO, this time around I wanna stay at 100 lbs GONE forever and keep moving forward!

I'm not feeling like I'm sensitive to the caff, just worried because seen various posts in low carb forums about cutting out the caff and thought maybe I should do it to "get serious" but man I love coffee and HWC.

Well, see what works for you. I only gave up coffee about 5 or 6 days. That was enough for me

Did you lose most of your 100 lbs on Atkins or LC? How long you been doing NK?

It looks like interest in it fell off. They only had 5 pages for the entire month of February.

Wow Nk is getting easier and easier for me. I never think about food till it is time to figure out what to eat. I am so calm and never have anxiety. I would say I have been Keto adapted a good while now and I can really tell a difference emotionally and physically.

Today was my second full day of getting back 100% into NK and tracking macros. Taken a more carb-lenient/Paleo approach these past couple of weeks. While I felt great, it didn't help weight loss. And I was weaker in the gym. NK makes me feel great and makes me lose weight, so I'm gonna stick with what I KNOW works for me.

Ate a ton today (for me, at least), and still feel like I could eat more! TOM should start tomorrow so thats probably a good explanation. Bought salted almonds by accident. OMG, get them away from me! They are so addicting. Man, I love salt.

Weight yesterday morning was 139.6 (omg, crazy high for me!), but was 135.2 this morning. CRAZY water weight! Trying not to stress it, but I seriously feel like a 10 pound bag of crap stuffed into a 5 pound bag.

Felt myself hit ketosis round 3 pm today (crazy metal mouth) and can't get enough water since!

B: coffee w/ 1 T HWC, 4 slices bacon
Commute: chicken bouillon w/ 3T HWC
S:2 oz almonds
L: 3 eggs scrambled in a T of butter
S: 6 oz cream cheese (YES, 6 OUNCES!!)
D: open face portobella mushroom sandwich: portobella base, 1.5 oz avocado, slice bacon, chicken tenderloin

1884 calories/167g fat/28g carbs (18 net)/78g protein

78% fat/17% protein/6% carbs



Is it terrible that the highlight of my week is when the new Publix circular comes out? Can't wait to check out the new sales tomorrow!
