Haven't planned my menu for today but I'm going to aim for 1700 calories to shake things up a bit.
How are you celebrating shark week?
Sounds like you love it
I am not really familiar with it.

Congrats to Kelly, Cheryl for your losses! Darin - looks like you are in the 100's for good now

Lisa - we weigh about the same, and if I had gone as low in cals as you did yesterday, my body would have gained too. I bet if you upped your calories on a regular basis you would see a huge change, I know I did .
Thanks for the encouragement. I think you are probably right about upping calories, it's just a matter of getting past the mindset that I have to eat below 1500 calories to lose weight. It does seem like every time I've seen a loss, it's been after a few days of eating higher calorie.

haha! Shark week is to be endured, not celebrated. Dark chocolate does make it easier though.

One thing that NK has done is to greatly reduce the amount of intestinal distress I experience during shark week. Sorry for TMI but I used to depend on Immodium or Pepto Bismol during that time. Now I rarely need it even with all the added fat in my diet.

I feel so sick right now its not funny. A family member had surgery 10 days ago and I went to be a caregiver...I did so well on plan for the first 3 days or so, but after that I was so so tired I started eating carby but GF stuff for several days. Weight stayed stable til 2 days ago when I fell face down in a huge pizza, ate 5 pieces then decided to eat a tea biscuit yesterday, then today I ate a bagel and some chocolate covered peanuts...weight has gone up .5 pounds but the worst is how i feel!!! I'm aching from head to toe, my head is splitting with headache and my brain is so foggy I can barely think at all. I could sleep right at my desk and I'm so nauseaus....I guess that's what happens when you eat wheat and junk after almost 2 months of eating pretty clean. I felt fine when eating the GF stuff, but since Sunday and the pizza binge, man do I feel bad.

I think I'll be doing a fat and water fast for a few days to get this crap out of my system. 2000 calories of fat/calorie free liquid should go a long way to clearing out the brain/liver etc.

Sorry you are feeling so awful. It will pass in a few days
Hope your family member is doing well.

That sick feeling is what motivates me to never cheat.
Last time I ate out, and it wasn't even a carby meal, I had to take Benadryl just to breath. My nose stopped up and I got terribly sick. I just got fajitas and didn't eat any of the carb stuff.

My trackers totals say I've had 30 carbs. I went through and counted individually (twice) and only got 15. Any ideas on what gives. Back up this morning. Real close to throwing up my hands.

I'm bummed. 3 lbs. up!!!!! for two days in a row. But my little friend is right around the corner. I don't want to weigh too regularly because of this reason, but it had been a week, so I thought I would hop on the scale and hopefully give myself a little boost, and that is what I got.

Boy, that was not a very good sentence. Please forgive.

I'm very happy for the rest of you!

That's bad about getting sick on carbs. Stories like that help keep me on the straight and narrow so thanks for posting the warning

Hey Erin, how are you?
I was thinking about you and wondering how you were doing?
My tracker has some foods that are entered wrong. Maybe that's it?
Sorry your feeling discouraged.

Portion size maybe? My tracker has some weird portion sizes. For example, 1 dill pickle spear. I'm sure if I ate 10,000 dill pickle spears the value for the one I log would be right on average but the 10k isn't important to me nor am I mollified that eating a gillion of them would average out heh. They have that sort of thing for onions, tomatoes, etc.

Another thing my tracker does for extra confusion is various quantity units like 'raw, yield after cooking'.

I have made several custom food items, a tedious and laborious process indeed, because I didn't trust the nutrition information that they provided.

In those situations, I go with what I know to be true and tweak the entry to reflect the reality. If the label says 10 total carbs but the item in the logger shows 8 total carbs I adjust the quantity so that the carb count is correct, e.g. 1.2oz instead of 1oz. If that throws off protein and fat too much then I begin my side job of creating a custom item while reciting Buddhist chants to calm my 'omg this sucks' spikes in cortisol levels. Alternatively, I shout 'Serenity Now!' every few minutes.

An 'all bets are off' situation for sure. Eat cold water fish and keep carbs to a minimum. Might be good to avoid nightshade family stuff whatever that is.

I feel fantastic! Lol But I'm never hungry so I have to force myself to eat. But no cravings either. Though the fresh baked French bread at the market made my tummy growl. Lol

I emailed Mr Jimmy Moore. He said his ketones went as high as 6.2 the first month and it wasn't anything to worry about. Blood sugar was 80 so I think all is good.

Tomorrow is my weekly weigh in. Hoping that it goes down again. Fingers crossed.

Hey Jenny, I think we all have that problem with the weight the week before to an extent.. I weighed 139.2 this morning, when I weighed 129.6 on Friday. Don't stress it, it will come right off in a few days!

Computer is fixed again, but check engine light in my car came on yesterday! LOL, lucky for me, the Sailor is a mechanical engineer. Phew.

Today has been pathetic foodwise, stomach cramps and 8 hours straight of crunching numbers will do that to ya.

B: black coffee
L: Powerade Zero
D: Atkins Chili con Carne
S: 3 oz almonds

Yup, that is all. Will do better tomorrow! Back on dairy, I just can't say no!

Fried Mexican cheese slices in a nonstick skillet and dipped in homemade tomato soup. Omg! Like having a grilled cheese. Loved it.

I used queso panela. But you can use other cheeses like queso fresco.
Yum! Served with a salad.

Just water i'd guess, unless you ate 31,500 extra calories which i doubt you did.
Hang in there!
