I know it's best to keep it under 40 minutes or so a day but I was feeling so good. An wow my soreness is nothing like it used to be. I know the weight loss is slow for me but I swear my body composition is changing more than the scale and tape measure can really show. Maybe my body is repairing from years of dieting. |

Hey guys!
I was doing great up until yesterday...St. Patty's did me in!! I ended up drinking way too much beer, wine, you name it. Then I ate 3 pieces of pizza, a cupcake, a box of smarties, ughhh...any carb that wasn't nailed down! I did even weight today (scared) but back on plan today, tons of water and will see what the damage was tomorrow morning. damn you St. Patty's- LOL! hope everyone had a better weekend than me food wise. xo Ainsley |

Yeah, I was like that all the time too. Especially after lunch. I used to eat lunch with the kiddies(- and food with gluten). I have to serve them the SAD. Our nutrition is regulated by Uncle Sam. I had to stop eating with them or have my meals premade and sit with them just eat different foods.

I really love apocalypse stuff, zombies in particular. But I do not love shock horror and some movies I avoid because they are just too gruesome for me.
So, finally, yesterday I watched 28 Days Later. What a great movie! And that guy from Batman, the Scarecrow, was excellent. And that theme music?!? "In the House - In a Heartbeat" by John Murphy... soooo freaking awesome! I'm watching 28 Weeks Later now. |

First one is excellent. Second one is excellent so far. The second one has that guy from Stargate Universe, the brilliant scientist, as its star. What a shame that they canceled Universe.

I was going to do a fat fast but wasn't feeling well when I woke up, so I just focused on keeping carbs low. Shark week is just about over so I'll probably weigh in tomorrow.
1170 calories, 108 g fat, 41 g protein, 13 g carb, 4 g fiber. 82% fat, 14% protein, 4% carbs. |

Todays Log
Calories 1542 Fat 116 68% Pro 102 27% carbs 20 5% Red, are my macros looking right. I am using my protein as my guide getting between 88 and 118 a day, 20 g carbs and the rest fat. Is that about right or should I strive for higher fat? |

You might try tweaking protein grams down to 75-80g for about 1.3g/kg and see how that works for a week or two. |

I thought that 28 Days/Weeks theme sounded familiar. He did something similar on that movie Sunshine (which was a great movie too). It was "Sunshine: Surface Of The Sun - John Murphy - Adagio in D Minor"

Weigh in this morning: 191.2, up a pound. Grrrr! I know that fluctuation on the scale is normal, but it's taking a looooong time to get to my first goal of weighing under 190 lbs. It's possible that I'm still bloated from shark week. I'll try drinking more water today to flush things out.
Haven't planned my menu for today but I'm going to aim for 1700 calories to shake things up a bit. |

Tuesday weigh
Yesterday: 195.7
Today: 195.6 Ketones: 4.2 (!) Ummmm.....seems a little high on the ketones. Gonna try to eat a little more today to see if that brings them back within the happy range. I'm definitely not hungry. But let's see what eating a little more does. Kelly |

191.2 this am
Congrats to Kelly, Cheryl for your losses! Darin - looks like you are in the 100's for good now ![]() Lisa - we weigh about the same, and if I had gone as low in cals as you did yesterday, my body would have gained too. I bet if you upped your calories on a regular basis you would see a huge change, I know I did |
