A 3.4 pound drop overnight? Doesn't sound right but I got on the scale 3 times to check. With such a fast drop I do expect it to go up some again. It seems to be what happens after such a drop. I'm cautiously excited but not throwing confetti in the air just yet. Lol

Yesterday's eats
I really wasn't hungry but made myself eat.
Pecans
Piece of good cheddar and a few macadamia
CO
1 small French fry (not a small order. One fry)
Fettuccine with pesto, olive oil and chicken (shirataki noodles)
Too much tequila. Oops Love that stuff.

Kelly
Congrats!!!

It may bounce back a bit. Alcohol is a diuretic and LC is diuretic so maybe it is a peek behind the curtain of the 'normal' daily water weight.

Darn you, alcohol! Lol I tell you it was quite a thrill to see the drop though! Lol

But lots of water drinking going on today. Noooooo alcohol. But yeah, I expect a gain tomorrow. Maybe I won't look at the scale. Who am I kidding? I'll be on it first thing in the morning. Lol

Congratulations on your 1.2 pounds down! Yay!!

This is the busiest thread

I was up 1lb this morning but not sweating it. I actually expected it with a 4.5lb loss in two days. I am going to wait one more week and then test my blood ketones. Staying on track is so much easier being able to eat a bit more protein.

I got the Eat Smart Precision GetFit Digital Body Fat Scale. I like it, the screen lights up so I don't have to turn on the bright light in the morning to see it.

Last night hubby said "You like that new scale so much, are you gonna sleep with it? I said, "Not yet, I am gonna wait and see how sweet it talks to me first. If it talks real sweet it gets your pillow "
I bet I got 20 compliments last night.

Wow. 1700ish reviews on Amazon and only 30 or so 1 star. 83% 5 star reviews. That is pretty dang impressive right there. DH should be worried. I bet he doesn't have 1400 5 star reviews.

We all seem to be bouncing a lot lately. Very strange. I've started a petition to blame Cheryl for it but don't tell her till we get enough signatures.

The review are what sold me on the scale, Good thing for DH I didn't listen to the reviews in his case.

I finally got my book, The Art and Science Of Low Carb Living, I looks to be very well written, I am so excited.
I didn't get the performance book yet. My order got messed up so I just bought this one used.
One thing I notcied on Amazon after I listened to the Low carb stalls podcast was that they made a huge amount of the book available on the look inside screen on amazon. Wow thats so cool. When Jimmy Moore said "your giving it away" Phinney was so cool. He said he just wanted people to get the info he didn't act like he cared a bit about how many books he sold.

ah sorry. My stank eye can be pretty fierce. Sometime I don't know my own strength.

Hope you get ta feelin better. (If the pickle juice doesn't work)Magnesium and calcium help my headaches. They relax the blood vessels or something.

Unless you zapped me about a week ago I don't think your evil eye is the culprit

This is that same headache that has been hanging out with me for the last several days. Yesterday, though, it was gone all day. I had pickles with dinner. The extra magnesium is a great idea.

breakfast was normal today at home, then at the trade show it was hard to resist all the muffins, donuts and pastries, and lunch was hard too. They had salad which i had caesar and picked out the croutons, they had meatballs which i thought were in gravy but turns out they were chicken, breaded and fried in sweet and sour sauce. I had 1 because i put it all in my mouth and didnt have a napkin to spit it out. Some ham, and the rest i couldnt eat like scalloped potatos, lasagna, peas and carrots it was harddddd. Then in the afternoon i snacked on some peanuts, probably not too much but i was starving and didnt have my protein shaker with me (doh) and then i avoided the afternoon sandwiches. God damn. Home now and put some fish in the oven.

I ate a LOT of food today and went over on calories, but I'm okay with that since I only took in 1100 calories on Monday and 800 on Tuesday.

Ended the day with 2035 calories, 160 g fat, 118 g protein, 38 g carbs, 16 g fiber.

I had a fun day, too. My mom makes killer scones, and my coworkers requested 2 dozen for our morning meeting. I made a low-carb banana pound cake and had that instead, but it was a near miss. Those things are tempting! I have yet to find a low-carb cake or cookie recipe that has the right mouth feel. :/

I got a new batch of precision strips in the mail this afternoon, and broke them open right away because I upped my protein to 90g/day three days ago and didn't know if I was still in ketosis. I was very pleased to find a reading of 1.3mm/L.

Oh your macros look great. Do you think the low calorie days Mon and Tues caused you to eat more today?
