Multi-vitamin, CoQ10, fish oil and potassium are all good to take too. Check new supplements against Rx meds and OTC meds and any health conditions of course. |

It is something to be a bit careful of. If you eat when hungry and you are never hungry your metabolism will down regulate to accommodate the low calorie eating. Or you'll get zapped by uncontrollable urges to binge or carb up at the most inopportune time. If you think about it I bet your feelings of aversion are not a 24/7 thing. You could eat but go for hours not eating and then the aversion thing seems to kick in. That is one of the reasons I think it is best to have a calorie goal and spread out your calories through the day so you aren't caught at the end of the day with very low calories and feeling like eating would make you sick. |

lol I got tonights at wallie world, a friend loaned me some money to get dog food...this going 7 months w/o a job stinks!!! Thank God for good friends though....2 more weeks...i can do this! ![]() oh, when does my aversion to food kick in! I know I have a food addiction. I love to buy it, (not pay for it though! lol) cook it, eat it, watch foodtv, read food blogs!~ I just love it! and I have periods where the thought of eating food (because i'm tire of being fat) but that rarely stops me from eating. I also at times will sleep eat....it is usually when i am really stressed it seems....which has been a lot lately! Hopefully that will calm down some with the new job and a lil bit higher pay check! ![]() |

Cherly I think it the weather here I'm the same this morning to.so I think as soon as the winds stop its going to take some weight with it...
Theresa I stayed around 10 grams carbs some days none and off and on meat and eggs.plus I think the co had a lot to do with it,but now that I'm closer to goal it's getting slower, but that's ok cause I look better and feel so good. |

I am loving this way so far so good! So did you do meat/egg hacks every so often? is that what you meant? I love coconut oil/milk/cream....heck all things coconut! Ok, so i did the fat fast the last three days (monday morning) with my friends (we are tight knit group of recovering hcg'ers! and while i gotta say i modified I am rather loving the results! I DROPPED another 1.4 this morning and my calories were nearly 1800 (if not a bit over) yesterday. I kept it at 90%. I'm wondering now if this is causing the muscle soreness...but MAN I am SO close to being BACK in the 270s for the gazillionth time in the past year! (I got down to 259 on hcg from 310)(but then again I was about 190 at one time from SB and running ) and then life got in the way, quite eating right, quit running and well, 320 again before I knew it! I can't decide if I want to go another two days or break and go back to my normal menus! |

Yesterday: 201.6 See-saw, see-saw. Lol So close to the 100's I can taste it! I didn't log all my stuff but I was very low on carbs and high fat and protein was good. I made so e of the best mashed cauliflower last night! Added butter, a little bit of chicken boullion granules, cream, and a couple of tbs of French onion dip. Topped it with cheese. Yum! Served beside a top sirloin steak topped with a little pesto. Happy tummy.Happy Thursday! Hope y'all have a great one. Kelly |

That is awesome! You will be in onderland SOON! Quote:
) I try to keep my veggies to a few...i am boringly consistent. Zucchini, yellow squash, spinach, salad, peppers....oh and mushrooms...but i am starting to wonder about the shrooms. I KNOW I am allergic to mold...so theoretically i should cut out cheese (NOT gonna happen! at least not all of it! lol) and or shrooms (a fungus, not quite a mold). I know I am loving this higher fat thing! I am TRYING REALLY HARD to be as strict paleo/primal (i still have hwc, cheese...but less than i used to!) and i do not anything processed or packaged (except pepperoni WHY do they do that to us?!? |

Love the fat!! I was on a low fat high protein diet and have lost 40 lbs. I have kept it off, but I think and know my body was crying out for fats!!! It has taken awhile for my body to adjust...several weeks to this way of eating. I have lost a few lbs..but my waist is smaller!!
I want to buy the ketone meter, but find it rather expensive...at least the test strips are!! Thanks |

Welcome to our thread You can google around for food loggers. There are a bunch of them around and most of them have companion smart phone apps too if you are interested in that. The terms of service for LCF doesn't allow promoting them by linking to them or mentioning them in posts. If you start logging you should pick two or three that you think you like and use them all at the same time. It is extra work but it is the only way to discover how they really compare in features. If what you are doing right now is working I'm not sure I'd change anything. There are some benefits to having your food log history to look back on if things stop working but weighing stuff and keeping up with a food log can be a hassle. Well. I would check to make sure I was getting at least the minimum protein daily. That is somewhere between .8g/kg and 2.0g/kg. Pounds to kg is pounds/2.2 I wouldn't bother with the expensive test strips either unless I had a definite reason to use them. |
