Deb, I've never had it with water, but I imagine its still good. I use Silk vanilla almond milk, unsweetened. 30 calories a cup. Its my favorite.

I've never seen Cool Hand Luke, I have no idea what this means!

Just an update:
I have been sick the past couple of days and bombed an Income Tax midterm yesterday too! Have not had much of an appetite.

Yesterday, I ate 7 eggs and a Larabar. All day.
Today, I've eaten 6 eggs, a Larabar, and a Kind bar. All day.

Something about those bars have been calling to my sick self, LOL! Haven't weighed for a couple days but I'm assuming I'm losing weight since I'm struggling to break 1000 calories a day. Have backed away from the protein shakes because I've got congestion and don't want to complicate it. Need those back in my life so bad!

That is too bad Casey. Will they let you do a make up exam since you were sick?

You've never seen Cool Hand Luke????

What we've got here is a failure to communicate. GnR used that in their awesome Civil War song heh.

Make some LC snacks and thrill the Sailor by telling him ya'll are gonna watch that tonight. If he hedges tell him it is possible it'll be a double feature with Where Eagles Dare.

LOL, I bet he's seen it. He likes all the classics. Is Cool Hand Luke the movie where he goes, "Go ahead, make my day..."? I will probably be knocked out from Nyquil by the time he gets home from his MBA class...

Add onto the list for todays eats: 2 chicken tenderloins and another Larabar. I really need to throw those suckers in the trash. The uber bananas foster is fantastic and only 14g carbs, so I keep telling myself since I'm sick its ok! LOL, I think I'm at 48g carbs total for the day and just shy of 1200 calories, so I'm not sweating it. I also keep telling myself, "Hey, a Larabar is still better than a 22 oz frozen yogurt monstrosity I usually get when I feel like crap."

We are making homemade beef jerky this weekend!

Lordy. I'm gonna chock that 'make my day' mixup to the OTC drugs you are taking Missy.

Make my day is from Dirty Harry - Clint Eastwood.

If he likes the classics he's seen both of those and Dirty Harry

Yeah, 56! OUT OF 100.

The class average was a 43!!! When the class average is that low, what does that say about the professor? His method of teaching is reading powerpoints every class. Word.for.Word. This is an Income Tax class, so its quite a bit of calculations, which we never go over.

I should also add that I am a senior in college with a 4.0 GPA. I have NEVER gotten anything less than an A in any college course I've taken. So yeah, I'm just a little bit irate.

Cold hearted Nyquil that rules the night
Removes the runny noses from our sight
Snot is gray and yellow, white
But we decide which is right
With your maddening carby taste plight.

It is the end to Nights in White Satin by the Moody Blues called Late Lament. I took artistic liberty with it.

I am currently nursing, for a few more days until I get up the energy to lose a few nights sleep. I'm probably in a pretty different situation than you are, seeing as my little guy is almost old enough to go off to college. But, I haven't added any extra calories (and have, for the most part, been very low on calories, like usually between 900 and 1400) and I've not lost any milk production. If I was nursing an infant I might be a little more careful to make sure my production wasn't messed up, but I think it is a fairly rare occurrence to lose your supply bc of diet. Also, I have read posts by people who said their production was affected but they just added calories back in and it came back up, so if you mess up, it's not like you can't fix it.

Isn't it curved? Looks to me like you could be in the A range???

And what're you doing taking tax law??? I went to law school, but you couldn't pay me enough to take tax law. (I have, since law school, realized that I am not motivated enough by money. It is not a bad thing to be motivated by money. )

So, I have LOST WEIGHT you guys! Go figure! I'm down to 186.8. Woo hoo!

Also this crazy thing happened today that I'm calling progress. I got up before 7 am, kids off to school, went to starbucks to study for 5 or 6 hours (stupid *%&^# california bar exam), picked up Mil0 from school, went to trader joe's bc Aug1e is having his b'day celebration at school tomorrow so I had to get treats (poor thing was sick the whole week of his b'day). I did a whole shopping trip, got out to the car to pack things up and realized that not only did I not buy a single item for myself, but it didn't even cross my mind to do so. I got up early, had a busy day, it was at least 4 pm and I had not eaten a single thing (just had a coffee with HWC) and walked through the grocery store without thinking about food! I am apparently an entirely different person than I was six weeks ago.

Way to go, rubidoux. Losing weight is always a good thing.

I am an accounting major. Was hoping to go on to law school for tax law, but maybe not after this!!

No curving exams, its against department policy. Ridiculous, right? Its been a rough semester between commuting 2 hours a day back and forth, taking 18 credits, doing all the cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. I can't complain though, the Sailor provides for me so I don't have to work. I'm a lucky girl.
