Got some MCT oil today, yayaya!

In other news, my cravings are still CRAZY and I've been kicking around the idea of trying Stillman's for 1-2 weeks to see if I can get them under control. When I say craving, I'm not just talking about Bluebell cookies & cream (OMG what I would do for that..).. I'm talking about sitting in class daydreaming about a dozen boiled eggs! I am craving PROTEIN like MAD.. and its weird since I get about 80 grams a day. Its all I want to eat lately..

Anyway, lean protein and eggs for a few days should help me burn out on my need for protein, huh?

I already had my meal and stats planned and recorded. I went ahead and entered right after we ate.

Hey red, about 1600 a day, and I could easily scarf down at least 1000 more. I wish I could blame it on a fast metabolism, but don't think that it the case. Weight loss will halt if I go over 2000.

I'm still 8 pounds up from where I was in the beginning of December. Feel like I need a good kick in the rear.

Meh. But I think part of the problem was that I did not season the chicken very well before I cooked it. I've got some smoked sausage that I am going to try tomorrow or the next day. I need to use up that head of cabbage.

Is your protein in the right range? It seems more likely that the cravings are about calories or some particular thing about the way eggs make you feel rather than protein. Eggs, for example, are loaded with all sorts of goodies besides the protein.

Take what I say on the matter with a grain of salt MC because I have never been a big believer in the listening to your body stuff. When I listen hard ,my body whimpers for BB cookies and cream or that once a year flavor Wedding Cake (which is something to tempt even the most steadfast NK'r).

I tried it with stewed chicken once and It just wasn't as good to me either. Then I tried it kinda like a hambuger helper. Hamburger, cabbage and cheese. That was no where near as good as the soup. But, smoked sausage sounds like it might be good.
I think that cabbage rotel soup is my all time fav soup.

Yeah, I could eat the hamburger version all the time for sure. It was really good.

The only problem I have with it is that the carbs are a bit high for me if I am not real stingy with the cabbage and I love cabbage - particularly as an ingredient in soup.

Wow! I'm never done with anything by 6 pm. And usually I'm a day or two behind on my record keeping. Though tonight I have it done before bed:

167.46 fat 11.21 carb 71.82 protein 1862 calories

I'm a little high on everything it looks like. I'd rather keep the protein closer to 60 and the calories down at 1500ish. I'm very curious to see what the scale says tomorrow. Today it was 188.2, which is just about where it's been for the last 8 days.

Happy Valentines Day!

My weigh in was 161
But I took my measurements,no loss there either, oh well!

My Valentines day gift was waiting on the table for me so no sad faces round here.
A rose bush, Chocolate and a 4 page essay about what a wonderful wife I am
DH had to write an essay for school, and he wrote about me. .
Now everytime I try to walk from the kitchen to the living room I keep hitting my big ole Head on the door framing. It has swolen to a gargantuous size.

I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day.

Good morning all! I ended up eating protein to my heart's content last night-- about 150g worth in one sitting. It satisfied that urge. But, I woke up this morning 4 pounds (yes, FOUR POUNDS) heavier!!

So I guess we got the answer to "Is Casey sensitive to too much protein?"

Will be fat fasting today to kick this body back into ketosis, cause I'm feeling like I knocked myself out.

Good news-- I never wanna eat protein again now that I know it has this effect on my body. I mean, I will to preserve LBM, but no more than 75g!

Yeah mizz could it be a female thing? That might explain the cravings too, although that usually causes chocolate craving in most of us ladies
