What stalls you??
Lets all come here and talk about what you eat that stalls you or makes you gain!Talk about things that helps you to lose!,

Well for me I no for sure those nuts,,almonds get me ever time.
Sf.gums is another one for me!
Can't wait to hear from all of you!

Hi Becky...don't know what stalls me as I am still not showing that I"m in ketosis on the strips...very discouraging.

But, what causes cravings are SF candies/mints, nuts and especially anything made with even the smallest amount of almond flour. Then I am ravenous after eating them and wanting more more more.

Although it is too soon for me to have a stall. I just read in my current book (see book thread) that alcohol almost completely impairs the bodies ability to use body fat. Since before NK I regularly enjoyed a glass or two of wine or a bottle of beer a couple times/wk, it answers the question of whether to indulge on this WOE. Answer, not while losing.

When you were stalled, did removing these things increase your blood ketone readings? Or did adding these things kick you out of NK?

So far it seems like as long as it is LC it won't stall me. You know, like some people can't drink one or more of the artificial sweeteners.

But I do seem to be really carb intolerant. And I have a hard time with self-control on some otherwise LC friendly food... almonds for example.

HWC for sure.dropped it and lost 2 pounds.Too bad bcoz I love it.it raises my BS.
too much AS-splenda is a problem too.

Still those dang nuts and gum yesterday I had 3 oz nuts and few pc gum gained .5 lbs..

Has anyone found Carbalose to stall them? I bought some a few weeks before I started NK and haven't wanted to risk using it, but I have a bunch of Christmas cookie recipes I was going to spec up using almond flour and Carbalose.

What stalls me? Too much protein, mindlessly eating nuts and cheese, and any eating after dinner.

Artificial sweeteners, which sucks cuz I would love a diet pepsi every day!

Alcohol actually seems to help me lose weight but that's probably because I eat so little when I am drinking and the day after.
