Morning everyone. Great discussions going on.
I didn't get on the computer much if any yesterday so posted my update on my weight today, down just a teeny bit more. Oz by oz, I am happy.

On the issue of fats, those who are just starting out will avoid some of the issues they are having if they increase them slowly, especially the coconut oil.

On the issue of hunger, I can totally testify that this woe kills your appetite, I NEVER would have beleived I would be able to say that, I don't get hungry, don't have nearly the interest in food or my next meal and am now one of those people who have to think of something to eat to meet my requirements for the next meal. Last night I just could not think of anything I wanted for dinner, ended up having a couple of cups of my homemade fatty chicken broth. Not ideal but there just wansn't any food that I wanted.

I thought I might clarify this statement a bit.

2.4g/kg is high for NK and even LC I think, however, Jimmy Moore had a podcast with a protein expert and that Doctor asserted that protein was safe even as high as 3.0g/kg! He noted, though, that actually eating 3.0g/kg would be physically pretty dang hard to do because that is a whole lot of protein. I think he even said it'd be impossible without some sort of protein shake type supplement.

He was not a fan of LC so he said some crazy stuff during the interview but I thought it was very interesting that he set the 'all things considered' safe level so high. It runs counter to the mainstream's horror of meat product consumption in general and the shrieking terror of red meat in particular.

And, of course, since he was no fan of LC, he was completely unconcerned with the possible insulin spiking glucose production resulting from high protein intake or protein's insulinogenic properties which, I think, are separate from gluconeogenesis.

Disclaimer: I have never heard a Justin Bieber song as far as I know. I did see his pathetic attempt at off the cuff rapping on youtub - my retinas were damaged for hours and I was deaf for several days. I am simply aware that he is the current 'tweens superstar

90% of the time my alarm clock is hooked to my semi-retired state of life, and that is to get up when I darn well please! I am NOT a morning person and life made me be one for sooo many years.

That is the beauty of us being able to set it off from across the Internet. When you get up grumpy we don't have to deal with it!

win/win! Well, win/win/lose cause Mr. Buffy is the loser under this little scenario.

yes he does TONS. Its well known. Many others wish they had the kind of celebrity he has and most ppl believe it is related to how much he interacts with his fans personally. In fact, if you ever watch interviews that he does you will see that some VERY famous
adults BEG him (on tv) to follow him on twitter hoping that others will follow suit since
he has a ton of influence owing to the fact the has one of the most, if not the most followers in the world- not sure but once in awhile there are articles in forbes etc. (I think is quite embarassing that they do that)

I was just saying that it wouldn't be shocking if they piped in here to set us straight once in awhile being as it might help their cause.

funny how this conversation ended up evolving.

If they do happen to read our threads???? Don't they see us stumbling around, bumping into walls, getting things screwed up? You would think that if they did, they would have to chime in and straighten us out and get us headed in the right direction????

I fully admit to being an old fogie and formed my opinion of JB solely on his choice of hair style.

I think today everyone googles themselves especially if they are trying to sell something like books for example. Also they work with JM and he linked this thread on his site.. so they must know we are here. That's not to say that they read every post.
