Wow Red, and we live just how many miles apart? Can you tell me what perfume I am wearing today? This is a test? What about yesterday? A hint, it was a different one?
Geez, now I am almost afraid to open an bottle of vinegar, don't want to make our Major Darin , although if he were in sick bay, we could push our homework aside and party down ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Congrats on the inches, that's what counts most IMHO!! Correction to an earlier post...I typed HF for my last ten years, good grief, I was high protein, which I have learned was the reason for the stall, then bouncing after the lovely 50 birthday. Now, I am HF. Tried to edit and realized there must be a time limit on that!! |

Kerry, MCT is Medium Chain Triglycerides. Coconut oil is a MCT.
There is a lot of evidence that these oils are beneficial. Are you asking specifically about the MCT that links to Netrition on your post? It is made by NOW. |

I've used MCT oil. One thing to know is that is is fairly notorious for causing gastric distress, especially at the beginning. One tablespoon in a smoothie is enough to cripple me for a whole day. However, I can eat coconut oil without any trouble. MCT oil is more expensive too. Unless you're epileptic and need to have super ketone levels in a major hurry, I don't recommend it over coconut oil.
On the other hand, it does make a lovely and shelf stable massage oil! End delurk. Last edited by solarpluvia; 10-04-2012 at 01:22 AM.. |

Hey PC, sounds like you made very good choices! Good for you! Your weight gain is probably just sodium. It will be gone in no time! Have a good day today!

weigh-in 10042012
Weigh-in this morning ... 193.3!
Hooray! New low! Former low was 193.5 so only .2 difference but heh I'll take it especially after two bumps Would have swooned and hit my head on the sink counter if I'd have gotten that other .4 to get to the 192s. So, for safety, 193.3 was a good reading and my body wasn't being contrary just looking out for my forehead. Aside from that, Larry was right about the awful thought of being found dead naked. |

Hey, Braums has a very tasty LC ice cream. If I was out in that situation I'd certainly have a 2 scooper of that at Braums. I wouldn't worry about the 2 pound bump. I just had almost that sort of bump over two days after my old low and I'm back down today. |

Fat = 9 cals per gram. Carb & Pro = 4 cals per gram. ((F grams * 9)/Total Cals)*100 = F% ((P grams * 4)/Total Cals)*100 = P% ((C grams * 4)/Total Cals)*100 = C% ((106*9)/1360)*100 = 70% ((81*4)/1360)*100 = 24% ((17*4)/1360)*100 = 5% Which does not add up to 100% but that is due to rounding errors on the calorie counter or grams counter not the math for %s. Your grams total is 1346 calories. Don't worry about these sorts of tiny errors. At a really fine granularity it is very much guess work. Last edited by reddarin; 10-04-2012 at 07:22 AM.. ![]() Yes, the snack was included in my daily total. And, I do use sweetfreez but don't add it as it is 0-0-0. That snack was actually a dessert I had made. The nuts and butter were in the bottom of the bowl with some sweetener. Then I took the 2 oz of cc, the 2 T of sour cream, the heaping T of cocoa, added a t of vanilla and some sweetfrez and mixed it all up until it was thick and creamy, soften your CC first. Put it over the nut crust, then added a nice dollop of whipped cream. It is all added together in the tracking program I use, but when I add it to my meal/snack, it breaks it back down. Gotta have my coffee, that is my first thought when I wake up, yayyy, I get to go have coffee! ![]() |
