Bummer, there is always a trade off!

Food Log

Numbers and log for today.

Calories: 1545

Fat: 137
Pro: 59
Car: 30

78/15/7

Breakfast: CO & coffee. Second thermos with HWC. I'm gonna quit doing that cause later in the day I'd like those calories back.
Lunch: Bacon and eggs.
Dinner: Tomato, broccoli.
End of the day: T of CO.

I ate lunch pretty early but man it stuck with me. When the dinner window rolled around I still wasn't hungry. I wanted to get my protein up a little but I just couldn't bring myself to eat a big meal. So after a while I had the broccoli in one of them ziplock steam bags and a sliced tomato for a very light dinner.

I had hot peppermint tea a couple of nights ago with 1T of CO and a drop of splenda, very good and I will enjoy it this winter. I used to only like iced tea but really did enjoy it with the CO.

CO is probably a lot more versatile than MCT oil. Especially if you like the taste of coconut.

Numbers looking great Red. I ate "brunch" late, about 1:30 pm as I slept late and my coffee and CO took me to that time. Now, it is 6:20 and I am not very hungry either but am going to go fix my tilapia, I need the protein and try some of my fresh broccoli chopped up.

I bought the magnesium after reading Dr. Eades induction article so all I looked for was stuff that ended in 'ate'.

I will probably buy my next bottle on line at netrition or Amazon and get a better quality product. This bottle says 'magnesium sterate' on ingredients but says 'As Magnesium Oxide' on the RDA part of the label.

Which is interesting since Oxide is the least absorbable form does that mean that at 2xRDA I am actually well under RDA? If so, WOW! lol what a difference even supplementing with crappy (haha) Oxide.
I seem to remember a podcast or video not long ago shared here on the forums discussing magnesium and the speaker/authority endorsed the Magnesium from Jigsaw Health. I checked it out at that time and again today and it is just too expensive for me. I'm going to get a chelated Mg from Netrition on my next order. Fits my budget better. I'm taking chelated now of a different brand and I do well with it. It has a calming effect and no where near the bathroom effect as the oxide.

Just had a Hansen's Diet Cherry Vanila Creme soda float, wow, it was tasty. Truly, if you want to have these and need to cut back on calories, the 1 teaspoon of HWC does the trick. Even if it is illegal, just do it in the privacy of your own home!!

I think that was Dr. Robbins podcast with JM.

I've gotten acclimated to the oxide version so everything is normal so to speak. I do want to change to a different form on the next purchase though.

I have had stock in coconut oil for the past 5 yrs maybe? my daughter is 6yrs old and i remember using it on diaper rash so it has to be at least that long..

Besides I love the stuff, I have a site I order it from that is comparable to nutiva and its 54oz for 20$ (extra virgin cold pressed)

I want the mct oil for smoothies and such, one thing I hate about coconut oil is it gets hard in cold things..
I see bottles for about 8$ for 16oz so imo its not so expensive to try out for a while and see if I like it..

, so, you are aware of the incredible edible CO. Good, didn't know what you were going for in the MCT, that makes sense.

You numbers look fantastic for the first day. You did good
