Not going to post my numbers today because they're embarrassing. Didn't eat what I planned to, so just barely consumed a little over 700 calories. Since calories were so low, everything else was low too. Percentages were fine, I guess, but actual numbers of grams were ridiculous. This was my rest day for the week with my Insanity workouts, so just not all that hungry and not in need of the energy. Insanity starts again tomorrow, so I'm sure all that will change.

I don't know about you Deborah, but the days when I feel like eating less than 1000 calories because I am just not hungry give me a sinful sense of self-satisfaction.

I may go ahead and wipe the Mint installation replacing it with Zorin on the HP. All the hard work is done so installing it is easy as pie now. And I like Zorin with Cinnamon a little better than Mint with Cinnamon.
Darin -- is this a unique OS? What is the upside? Windows 7 is driving me insane, we are to install Win10 in a few months where I work, it's such a failure I can't imagine. I would like to install another OS, can it work in place of, or on top of Windowns. The IM "gods" will likely find out about it, but the flaws are horrible with 7.

Hey guy/gals!

I had the A&W diet root beer float (HWC and soda) the other day. My favorite A & W brand, it tastes so creamy.

Today I tried Diet Sunkist Orange float - not a fan of that brand. What are you all using?

I purchased tonight - Diet Vernors Ginger Ale. I'm going for the Boston Cooler now!
I'll let you know how it is.

These floats are so filling and satisfying.

Have a good night!

Well I'd definitely rather have an unusually low-cal day than an unusually high-cal day, lol.

I'm a huge fan of Linux and Ubuntu/Mint/Zorin but I am not a Linux expert at all.

I am geeky as all get out so when something isn't the way I like it, I just google around till I can fix it and so far that has been most everything. I've been very pleased with Linux for the last 4 weeks or so that I've had it installed and in daily use.

All three that I mentioned are flavors of Linux that are designed to be very user friendly. Ubuntu is the main flavor - both Mint and Zorin are based off of it and are easier to use.

All three are free even for commercial use although Zorin has a Premium version with a few added features. You can buy tech support for Zorin too.

For commercial use there may be a few things to look out for like Adobe licensing, I guess, if you had to have that. That sort of thing.

All three can replace Windows or be installed beside Windows for dual boot. So you can download all of them and try them out to see which is best for you. Back-up your computer of course.

About 15 years ago I worked in tech support doing disaster recovery with MS business customers. I can't tell you how many calls I took from admins that either had no backup or had never made sure their back up was valid.

All come with a good selection of software. Libre Office is Linux's answer to MS Office and is very complete and compatible with MS Office.

Who are the IM gods? The IT guys? How big is the company, like how many computers / servers do ya'll have approximately?

Big Red - not bad.
Pepsi - not bad.
Diet cherry coke - meh.
Cherry Dr. Pepper - meh.
Dr. Pepper - just so so.
Rootbeer - excellent.
Coke Zero - excellent.

Lessee? Must be a local brand. I've never heard of that one. Have you heard of Vernors? I know it was developed in Detroit but not sure if it is a national brand. I will try the Coke Zero...good stuff. Thanks.

Lessee - Texas for 'lets see'.

Like 'jeet' is for 'did you eat'.

Or 'I tell you what' is a complete sentence in Texas.

We must thank Deborah for the Coke Zero float. Sooooo good. I like it more than the rootbeer one. My favorite so far by far. But I like Coke Zero a lot too.

=)

Haha, you're welcome but really it wasn't like a master idea. Coke zero is the best tasting diet cola I've ever had, so why not make it a float?
