Frankly, it is really weird. Nothing sounds good, even just a 1/2 oz of pork skins. You know? Like an hour after Thanksgiving dinner when you couldn't even bare to glance at another yeast roll? And I ate lunch around 1:30 this afternoon.

I'm loving that lol

I'm just gonna close the log out and be short on protein today. After pigging out day before yesterday I have some leeway probably. I'll be about 30g short I think.

K, so more questions re: the science of this WOE. As mentioned yesterday, I calculated my fat intake should be 94g. Today's intake will be 106 after supper = 71%. So, if I were to reduce my fat intake, it would reduce the percentage. Which should I follow: My personal calculation or still aim for 80%?

Thank you for your patience with me.

Protein is the important number. Try to get at least the minimum protein grams. Otherwise you risk losing lean body mass rather than fat tissue.

After that, Fat is the important number. Try to get to 80% but if one or the other has to give then don't worry about the Fat % (or grams).

Having said that, the ideal is to get to both numbers - protein and fat. You can tweak your menu a bit to get enough protein and fat by combining the two through fatty meats.

For example, rather than have low fat chicken breast, ground pork sausage is very high fat and good protein. You can approximate that by drizzling fat on lean protein but a high fat protein source is going to beat the manual version almost every time and it helps keep the calories reasonable (I think).

And, of course, if you aren't hungry don't force it. Just adjust your menu for the next day to make sure you get your protein in before you run out of hunger.

That happened to me today. I thought I would have no problem getting the balance of my protein in for dinner but it just isn't gonna happen today. But this is really sort of a one-off situation for me so I'm not planning on making any real adjustment for it. If it starts happening frequently then I'll change the way I am eating protein to make sure I get enough before I am full.

Just finished dinner and for snack tonight, it will be my usual, root beef float and a fat bomb.

My numbers came in just perfect, this gets much easier after doing it just a short while. And, I am not one who needs a lot of variety in their meals.

I did make the chicken salad, enough for DD's family and me. DH does not eat fish or chicken, so it is all mine. Also made up a SF jello/cream cheese concoction for a dessert type thing and baked some Pumpkin Bran Muffins off the Idreamaboutfoolalldaylong website. The only change I made was adding some chopped pecans which really added to the muffins. They are good though have that texture that flax meal gives, I think next time I will replace half the flax meal with pecan meal or almond flour. Was really good hot out of the oven with some grass fed buttah!!!

Hey, just keep in mind that stress can kill weight loss. So, if you stall or even gain a little don't worry about it. Just stay on plan and when things even out you'll be back on track for losing. And, of course, it may not make you stall
