It just occurred to me that we are at a disadvantage on getting our own category for Nutritional Ketosis.
Think about it. It is stunningly successful. So, the turn over as people reach their goals and fall away from daily/weekly posting will probably be greater than the amount of new people joining if for no other reason than the fact that we are hidden in the 'Other Plans' area. I never even knew Other Plans existed till we got moved here lol. I advertise both threads as often as possible. I know the other frequent posters are doing that too. I hope to encourage the lurkers to do that as well. And, if you are a lurker, please do post a 'hello I am following along silently' post (no need to think you have to post anything else if you don't want to) so Dottie, the admin, can see the interest in our little island of high fat, moderate protein and finger pricking sanity. Say hello at the other thread too. =) |

Had to look it up. Aspartame and acesulfame potassium. I don't even know what that second one is, except that it's used to reduce aftertaste. I think maybe it's secretly addictive too (J/K)!
Coke zero seriously stalls me if I drink even two per day. And when it's in the house, I seriously want to drink it all day. I have diet root beer in the house now and never have that problem. |

I also love coke Zero. For me it is the best diet drink, of diet coke.
Now that being said[And I drink to much of it every day. I would love to stop. We are going on vacation for couple weeks. And maybe that will be a great time to stop or slow way down. I must get this weight that i have regained since Feb. back down. Just have to find a program that works for me,that is healthy and low calarie.[ withhealthy fats and good proteins low sugar fruits. ect.I'm also using at times the Nutri bullet to make heathy green smooties. It seems to help. I will come back and see how u all are doing.[Maybe when I come back, I will join you all If I may.,? Kind |

The orange soda and cream is very good in my opinion. Root beer is my fave but I like strawberry, orange and peach too. |

We'll have to develop the pitch carefully.
Somehow the line, 'honey you look like you are putting on some weight, have you considered low carb?' probably won't result in a lot of recruits ![]() |

Red, I have also thought about the fact that there are two NK threads going, sometimes wonder if we shouldn't just move over to that one, since I think we all post there sometimes too, but to be honest, I like our little group over here a lot. We like each others humor, have a lot of fun, and it is easier to get to "know" each person and what they are actually doing when there is a small group.
Whatever you decide to do, I will follow and drink the sugarfree kool-aid. ![]() |

Just to be clear, I harbor no ill feelings about the divergent paths that have developed and I'm so very, very happy that the other thread was the genesis on this little flavor of LC for me. Nor do I feel any ill coming from the other direction. Essentially, I want to be free to exalt and sing the praises of 80/15/5 without feeling like I am stepping on anyone's toes doing that. We will have to start a new thread come the first of the month though since this one has gotten to be so many pages. |

Dang it. I think I am gonna be pretty low on protein today. I'm stuffed and I still need to eat about 3oz of chicken and a HWC float.
I'll probably have the float but I doubt that chicken is gonna happen. lol The problems I have, right?? ![]() |

I haven't been back to LC long so wasn't really aware of the difference the other thread had taken versus this one??? If you want, let me know. I just know I enjoy both a lot!
