Eating fatty protein can be a good way to keep both numbers up and tweak the percentages with pure fat to get the ratios right. |

I'm a real convert to taking periodic measurements. Water weight or not going to the bathroom won't mess with measurements like it will the scale. |

Morning All-
Port, you are doing fantabulous yourself. I am with others, rely on the measure tape on days when you don't lose or even gain. It keeps you going! Red- Woot woot! Way to keep on plan and get to onederland! I am down 1 more pound this AM, depsite the 2500 calorie intake yesterday! I did not sleep very well last night, so I was worried that the scale would be up. I am one lucky gal. |

Man alive. I had gotten lazy about my magnesium supplements but corrected that when I joined this thread and I've been sleeping like a rock the last several days. I think I am up to 600mg a day now. |

Yeah. Sensitivity to it varies from person to person but from what I've read everyone can acclimate. Once you are used to it switch back to nighttime dosing if you can. One of its properties is to relax you so it makes you sleep better. I've been taking one or two pills during the day and then two more close to bed time. |

Well. 1oz or .5oz or whatever hits the right number on the log. My range is 75 to 91 for protein. I bumped up the sausage yesterday and again today. |

I started on sept 3rd and as of this morning have lost 7.8 lbs.
Your calories do seem low today but mine are a little higher than I wanted. Hope as I get into this I can have some higher calorie days but still scared to raise them to much. If I get to losing insane amount of weight each week ![]() , I will raise them. Don't hold your breath ![]() |

The first two days I had to work on getting my protein up to close to the minimum by the formula I use. That is why the first (second?) day my calories were 2400ish. =) |

After watching an episode of Laverne and Shirley this week, i tried diet Pepsi w/HWC over crushed ice. It was delish. And to think all those years I turned my nose up in disgust when I saw Laverne drink Pepsi and Milk. Last edited by cinglessofme; 09-15-2012 at 05:40 PM.. |
