hi everyone! Where are you guys!?

today I did chest and back. Felt really weird again. Hopefully it will go away.
flat db chest press 4x8x42 one more set of 6 with 45's
incline db chest press same
one arm rows 4x8x30
face pulls 4x8x70
was going to do lat pulls, but I started getting a racing heart, cold sweats and all kinds of yuck.
tomorrow is arms and abs

I am finally a pound away from what I was before my trip a couple of weeks ago. Woohoo!!!!!

I am currently taking a personal training certification class and I am enjoying it alot. It will be something else to add to my resume.

I am also thinking of entering a competition finally!!!! We shall see. I am thinking about one in November. It would be bikinit fitness not figure fitness. So I will just have to do a runway walk of sorts not posing per se.

I will keep everyone posted. Everyone seems to be doing very well - keep it up.

I'm still around. Work is just exhausting right now with the caseload we have, then lifting and dancing on top of that.

just poppin my head in quickly, very busy IRL atm!! Fairly on-track with working out this week - Monday UB weights, HIIT, yoga/streches; Tuesday LB weights, HIIT, yoga/streches. Opted for a lie in this morning instead of my Pilates DVD and am out of time/energy tonight for it. Nutrition is all over the place and so is the scale . Still fit my Aust. size 10s so not too worried. Just need to get back to whole foods at the very least! Was great nutritionally today one down the rest of my life to go!

Hi. May I check in/join? I plan to start light weight training on tomorrow. I think I may have lost some muscle when I was pretty much starving myself on another diet. Anyways, I look flabby all over and want to look toned and fit like I did before when I followed LC only.

It looks like everyone here is already at goal. I'm embarrassed, lol. I'm pretty much just eating low carbs, doing cardio, and plan to start light weight lifting.

Do you think its a good idea to start now or wait until I reach my goal weight .

I really want to build muscle to burn fat and tone.

I do Body for Life
it is NOT light weights
I push my weights to the max every muscle group every workout.
I lift three days a week alternating upper body, lower body
on the inbetween days I do High Intensity Interval Cardio.
Body for Life is a very specific plan designed by Bill Philips in his best selling book Body for Life. Probably not the most advanced lifting style but actually quite brilliant. um I LOVE IT. Once I complete the twelve week challenge I'll be taking a week or two active rest and then working with a personal trainer to tweak/improve my next twelve week challenge.

I'm with Kisha on this one. I am still doing the body for life exercise routine, with some tweaking here and there. Lifting heavy is where its at!! Its great for building muscle, losing fat AND increasing your metabolism!!

Hmmm going for a bone density scan tomorrow. I am going to ask if they can do a bodyfat assessment. The results will prolly send me screaming back to lifting as soon as I can.

WOW, let me know how that goes. Is it expensive? I would love to have one done myself.

Dunno cause insurance is paying for it. I have read online it is about $100 but I don't know how accurate that is.
