"Hi" to all my cyber friends. Last night was boot camp. Most of it was running/leg work... we thru in some pushups "just for the hell of it". Amazing how doing something different one day a week really shows up in the muscles the next morning!

I'm really sad... the gym has let the trainer go that was doing the boot camp. Now I don't know if another trainer will pick it up or what will happen, but I loved that once a week change...

Today is a major house cleaning before off to work for the weekend and I'm planning to hit the gym this evening/late afternoon once I'm done. I've cleaned the ballet studios so actually I'm not to motivated to clean my house... but it must be done.

Jami, I still can't get over your pics... I realized that if I could get my skin to tighten I would look sooo much better... Anybody got a spare $30,000 laying around for plastic surgery? LOL....

See, Jami? I told you that you were making progress all this time! You really need to learn to listen to me, hon. Just ask my DH - I'm always right!

You look great, and should be very proud of what you've accomplished during this challenge.

I did my FBWO today. I really, really love that workout.

Good Morning everyone! How is everyone today!?

Karla~ I hope work goes well... busy to make the day go by, but not to exhaust you.. I took today off.. I was so wiped out this morning.. Everything I did was very hard, washing my hair... blow drying.. I needed some rest. We have been so busy at work with one of our scanners gone. All the work load and only one machine. I come in and we have 26 exams on the list, complete 16 of them, and have 23 still on there!! Bwaaahhh.. I hear ya about that debt! I dont have a lot.. but I do have student loans, and a couple small credit cards.. Im mad that I got the one.. but I'll just pay it all off and leave it alone..

Ayana~ I do love my eyeshadow. I'm getting better at using it.. I have never used mac products but I have wanted to.. Kat Von D has this Tatoo make up that actually covers the tatoo completely. I think its $28 but I still want it..

Ileen, Rachel, Twyla, thank you all so much!! You three really helped me get my eating under control! I had to make that jump from VLC Atkins to Healthy eats, I needed that push, and I am so happy I got it!

Hi Jami. It's 6:30p and this part of the shift has FLOW by. We've been busy since 7a and the last two hours have been a BE on a pt. with no legs... can you say, "way too much fun?"

Anyway... sorry your work load has been so heavy. Seems like scheduling doesn't have a clue that you are down one machine, huh? Oh well, management never really cares about that.

Hope you feel better. It's tough when a pretty girl can't get the energy to wash/fix her hair!

Love ya! Thanks for thinking of me.

Jami, glad your area of the world is a tornado free day. My area is now in the bullseye! Georgia is getting pounded with heavy rains and flooding.

I'm climbing out from under a 36 hour bought of food poisoning and won't be going to the gym today. I will go to ballet tonight so I'm working on rebuilding my strength this morning. I certainly won't call it 'low carb' but I'm not eating any refined carbs... it's all fruits... watermelon and such to get my hydration back!

Jami you have to try MAC eyeshadows - so much fun. I am a huge fan of Kat Von D's eyeshadow kits. I have 3 of them. I am lucky that my skin coloring allows for alot of creativity but I am glad you are more comfortable with it.

Good morning everyone.

I had a great weekend!!! Saturday morning my friends and I did the Race for the Cure. I jogged it in 36 minutes. Then we had lunch at a popular Breakfast diner in town.

Saturday night we had a dinner party and it was a free meal for me. I didn't go crazy though - believe me. Sunday was just a relaxing day which I needed.

Today back to the gym and no more free meals until my weigh in which is now in a couple of weeks.

Ileen, what do you teach? (I probably should know, but don't remember if I ever knew)

It's late afternoon and most of the storms have moved through Ga. My land is a muddy mess, and some local roads are flooded/closed, but it's not as bad as poor Memphis! I have a niece there and she was just glad her apartment was on the 8th floor!

The day has been watery fruits and a few pistaschios (don't know why... just craved them and ate them.)

I need to be dressing for ballet class, not sitting on the couch but the dog is curled up next to me and we are so warm and cozy... if it wasn't so close to recital I'd just stay here and cuddle.

Oh well... off I go.

Ileen - maybe I should go down in grade. My 4th graders are taxing. I actually am thinking of middle school just so I can teach one subject. Who knows.

elementry school is tough! I have a 5th grader (all our other boys are much older)

I bet it would be nice to only teach one subject! Is that an option for you to switch?

Thank Ayana, I'll try the MAC! You DO have great skin, plus you are beautiful. Im sure you COULD wear any color. Im a warm color person... I wish I could wear more shades.. I'll just have to play around with it see what I can come up with. Good job on your race for the cure run! I love those types of things. My work schedule doesn't cooperate for me to partake in them as much. I do take off sometimes to run races though, its just been a while. What did you have for your free meal?

Ileen, Funny you mentioned being Adrenal crashed! I think that was my probelm last week. I changed my workouts a little bit. I did LBWO, HISS, FBCT, HISS, FBCT.. Much more metabolic than I normally do. Saturday I was so exhausted I could barely function to get ready in the morning.. SO that may have been what was wrong.. HEHE

Karla, Im sure you body was craving potassium from the downfall of the food poisoning. Poor girl... I'm glad you are feeling better. Is everything in georgia dried up? Sounds like you all had a horendous day with weather!

Today is picture day. I am all artificially tanned up, I have one swimsuit, that black one, and I'm going to take another athletic looking one,, black shortie shorts and a black sports bra.. I have by bungie bands to do some high reps right before the shoot.

The plan for this week, under instruction, it to take off training, since I havent taken any time off from the gym since january 3rd.. and to eat maintenance cals. I CANT wait to eat more.. but, I am very resistant about not working out! Its my life and passion now.. I feel like I'm saying good bye to an old friend.. BUT, I trust the decision and it must be done.. I SHALL PREVAIL! LOL

Start weight of BODY for LIFE was 143.8... Today (my last day) was 143.8.. Isn't that funny! AND NO... IM NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT HE SCALE!! For the ones who always kick my butt for mentioning it.. You know who you are.. LOL Love ya!!
I weight the same, but I sure dont look the same. I actually changed my SHAPE. I used to be pear shaped. Now, I look... nice When I started the program I had the finish line.. May 4th..,. Its funny how you see that line.. the end of the race.. I knew I was going to keep going with this WOL, but I didn't think that I would keep changing, almost everyday! I wake up every morning and I look different from the day before! I can finally see it in the mirror and not just the pictures. I cant wait to see what the next 12 weeks will bring!

Oh Jami, I can't wait to see the pictures. Your transformation is nothing short of amazing to me. There is sunshine in Ga. today and suppose to be very warm (mid 80's). Guess whose A/C isn't working? Yep, you got it... mine! Good thing I won't be home most of the day.

Wow... Ileen, teaching children is amazing no matter what the age group. I teach my own, but then, I like them.... ha! I'm not very good with other peoples children. Taxes my patience way too much.

Ileen - I could go to middle school but with budget cuts/etc., it is safe to stay put in elementary. It is the safest right now.

Jami - Thank You! Yes just play around and have fun with it. I love expressing myself in different ways. That is just another avenue.

The Race for the Cure was fun!
I had a half of an omelette and a piece of toast. Later that night we had friends over and I had wine, chips/salsa, and a little bit of everything:
lamb, beef, chicken, shrimp curry, crossaint, orzo, and a Greek green bean salad. I had a little of all of it. Oh and I made a pineapple cake with warm sugar, coconut, pecan frosting.

OH boy!!! I am just now feeling back to normal. But........normally my free meals aren't that elaborate. I paid for it though. It has been back to working out and clean foods.

Yes I agree - Jami I can't wait to see more pix. Teaching takes so much patience that I sometimes run out when I get home - poor hubby. I have gotten better though.
