Yesterday was 100% on plan for both food as well as cardio.

I'm finishing my breakfast now, then need to do my LB workout. I still have a lot to do to get ready for our camping trip. I'm telling you, it's fun stuff trying to cram 2 adults, 1 kid, 1 50# dog, and everything we need for a weekend camping trip into my PT Cruiser! I never think it's all going to fit, but it always does, so I'm not going to worry about it.

I hope you all have a great weekend if I don't get a chance to stop back by before we leave.

I had LBWO yesterday. Not the best workout of my life, but I still lifted hard, and with every set I really got my heart rate up...
Today after work, 530ish, I'll do the Stubborn fat loss protocal again..

What do you all think of this. Honest feedback please
For the last couple weeks of the program. I am going to do UBWO on mondays, LBWO on Wednesdays, SFLP (extreme HIIT, with SS cardio) will be on tues, thurs and fri.. I think this should be ok. Usually I lift 3 days a week and HIITs only 2 days... Desparate last attempt to get my legs ship shape..

So I did upper body and kickboxing last night. Wow!!!!!!!!! Kinda happy I have Ariana today so I can rest.

Tomorrow it will be legs/20minute cardio. Have a great Friday!

Thanks A! I probablly shouldn't be switching up too many things right now anyway..
How's your day going??
I am tied between wanting to do the SFLP, or Upperbody tonight. I am geared up for either.. I usually do an upper or lower body workout on Fridays.. I need a coin.

Im not sure you should be doing 3 sessions..

you are making way to many changes to know what might work.. just finish out what you are doing.. i'd eat a maintenance for two weeks and go again at it with a solid plan..

Your UB looks great, Jami, so I'd personally focus more on LB since that's what you're concerned about. Why not do something like:

M- LB
T - SFLP
W - UB
T - SFLP
F - LB

My LB workout was awesome! The car's just about packed - just waiting for DH to finish up with his work, take his shower, and pack his bag. We'll be heading out as soon as Jordan gets home from school. I there's not too much traffic on 400 - it tends to get pretty backed up on Friday afternoons.

Ileen - we'll be passing right by you later today!

Afuentes - enjoy your visit with your sister! How old is she?

Thanks Ileen. I just have 2 weeks plus a couple days left of BFL. THen Im going to either a.) Hire Erik or b.) eat maintanence level calories for 2 weeks, then start another bfl challenge, It is a great program.. Now that I have more knowledge I can hit it harder, be more organized and do better.

Hey guys... I've been on the road for two days... sooo busy... getting family ready to leave for Daytona Beach. I have to work this weekend, as does my middle child. Husband, DS and DD will leave Sunday morning. Eric and I will follow on Tues. morning.

Amazing what it takes to get people ready/packed/out the door.

Anyway...

Hope everyone has a great weekend/next week.

I missed my Boot Camp workout Thursday night because of a problem with daughter. She has to come first. Today has been no gym time either with everything on the plate. I'll have to run 'suicides' on the beach next week! LOL

Eating is 100% appropriate. I have that going for me.

"A" - my sister is 15 years younger than me. We have no relationship at all. Glad you are working at yours!

Hi, all, wish I could comment on many other posts, etc., but I'm so far behind in this thread. I try to keep up, and it's hopeless!

Just need to throw in my two-cents worth to you, Jami. First, I agree with Ileen, that you need to not make too many changes at once.

Secondly, I think some CLEAN days at maintenance might do you a world of good, sticking with 3 days of lifting, and, as an added bonus burn, you could try adding in split sessions of cardio a couple days a week on lifting days. In other words, do 20 mins morning, 20 mins evening, on the same days you lift, then do HIIT on your normal HIIT days.

My reasoning? You're an endomorph. Read up. We need more cardio than the average gym rat. Just a thought.

But a week or two at maintenance would remove the body out of its current state of homeostasis and restore "trust" in your metabolism.

Keep your chin up. Eat clean. Stick with your program. Work it.

Good things come to those who wait.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Here is what Free Beauty Tips and Advices from BecomeGorgeous.com says I should do:

Talk about not really 'getting it'....

Rectangle Shape

Here the upper and lower body are in proportion to each other with a smaller bust, without a lot of curves. These body types tend to put on weight in their stomach and backside, while maintaining slender arms and legs.

Experiment with endurance exercises, cardio and do step classes, bench presses and shoulder presses.

Wow... that told me a lot.... :~(

Good Morning everyone! My co worker was ill yesterday so I had to work by myself, which stinks when you are trying to perform exams and answering the phone that never stops ringing... I hope she's better today.. At least I wasn't that busy...

i wanted to add a thought to this.. I wasnt so much saying to add in a lot of cardio but if you are training, then do SS anyway.. split the SS out to later in the day..

Or just go for walks.. *my* point that was NEAT (non exercise activity) does add up and just to keep moving when many have desk jobs and stay still all day, that helps to have something separate for the inital exercise activity.

Hi folks... Yep, Jami... TGIF for us! Sorry your co worker was out. Our facility has had so many budget/personnel cuts that we don't have clerical/assistance in our department. All weekend it's two diagnostic techs, one CT tech and everyone else is on call. I just love (NOT!) providing patient care while the over head operator is calling 'radiology call 4358 stat' because a physician is on the floor and he can't get anyone to answer the phone to look up his report which he should/could look up himself! Oh well... that's life...

Really starting to get excited about the beach trip. Hoping for lots of walks, jogs, bike rides!

Bet Laura is enjoying her camping. It's beautiful weather here.

No exercise to report but eating is 100% on plan.

Thanks Ileen..

Hi Karla, much better day today. I dont have to work by myself, I have moving help, and someone else can answer that PHONE! so annoying, LOL I'm just mad that non of my other coworkers ever tried to come in to help me out.. There is a safety issue with working by yourself in MRI, and anyone else would have freaked if they were stuck by themselves, with a big work load.. Oh well,, No need to compain anymore
Just 8 more hours and Im done YIPPEE YEAH!
I love Mondays! I get the BEST workouts! I'm so motivated, and Im just so darn happy to be off work!!

Hi everyone, I'm back from holidays and back at work (my full-time day job). Popping in quickly as I'll be busy catching up for at least a few days.

Ended up only doing 3 gym workouts while I was away, and everytime I went in the pool I swam laps. We walked a bit, but it's only a gentle stroll with a 6yr old. Food was way off plan most of the time and the scale bit back! So back on track today food & exercise! Did an upper body weights workout with SS cardio & yoga/streching (1.5hr) this morning and I have dance class tonight (2hr).

I've decided I'm going back to ~20g carbs/day to kick me off and may stay there for the next 2-3 months. All the playing around with OWL, even at around 40g carbs I was really only maintaining (down a bit, up a bit, down again). I knew my CCL was low from last time, but thought I could get away with a bit more considering the LBM & level of exercise I do now but doesn't look like it. So back to what works and on to goal!!

I've only read this page, don't think I'll get time to catch up properly unfortunately. Hope everyone is doing well.
