Thanks! But I was wondering if anyone in the MM section has had any experience with it or had reviewed how their plan works. I realize most of the posters in this section don't 'do' weight watchers.
Thanks! |

I guess I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. I signed up on ww because I need to be accountable. Three weeks into it, it seems like it is designed to be ultra low-fat, but I know I need more fat than what the points system seems 'handle'. Now I seem to be second-guessing this program - even though I know I haven't given it enough time.
I was wondering if anyone in the muscle matters section of lcf has tried it but decided another approach was better for them. I feel like I'm on information overload right now. Every fitness/nutrition expert seems to have their own formula for what is 'right'. Thanks for your time ![]() |

About Weight Watchers...
Hello!
I've done WW. I'm a lifetime member. I've flip-flopped back and forth doing FLEX and CORE. I believe WW changed their program around January, and I haven't been back since then. Now I think the program is a combination of FLEX and CORE. "FLORE" some people call it. If you're not familiar, with FLEX you ate whatever you wanted as long as you stayed within your points range. With CORE, you ate as much as you wanted ('til satisfied, not stuffed) of only food items listed on the Core Foods List. I think what they do now is eat off the Core List, but they count the points of those foods too. That is, they took out the eat-as-much-as-you-want part. If I'm wrong, another WWer please correct me. If you're doing the old WW, I'd do the CORE if you want to reduce your carb intake. It's not really low carb, but lower carb. They limit the servings of rice, potato, bread, OR pasta to one a day. Since they are letting you have some carbs, they've reduced the calories you intake by only listing lean cuts of meat on the list, and tell you to only eat fat-free dairy products. There are other details to the plan, but am trying to keep this post simple. Hope I've answered your question! |

I did it twice and did very well with it, both times I lost 25 lbs, you can use your points on healthy fat if you want. Although I'm doing low carb now I would really like to go back to WW because of the freedom , it just seems that lc has made me more sensitive to carbs which I don't like.
You can pick healthy choices on WW, some people use their points on trash, bars , cookies, etc Be careful |
