Just got my dvd and completed Burn Circuit 1. I was able to complete it using 8 lbs weights. My form definitely needs work but I completed all the reps.

Okay, who has moved into the Push phase and how is it??? This is my last week of the burn phase. I was going to do it one more week as I still haven't mastered my push-ups, however I am going to move on as the book recommends. I'm interested to hear how the Push phase is though!!!

Completed Burn Circuit 2 for the first time. Whew! I am really feelin it! I was able to complete 10 reps on all but 2 of the exercises and on those I did 7. I am able to do 17 knee pushups also. I feel a good tired but not wiped out so I think I am doing everything right.

I still have one more week in the Burn Phase. May I just say how much I loathe the bowler's lunges! My butt loves them but me........not so much.

I started Push on Saturday. I'm enjoying doing one move at a time and not dealing with combination moves. My poor biceps are so sore from Saturday (I used 15 pounds). I think I'll stay at 15 again for next week. I think she should move on to Push even if you haven't mastered the push-ups. The push-ups will come in time

Emily,
It's good to hear that you like the push phase as well! I too will like one exercise at a time. This is my last week on the burn phase - I will move on. I always worry about form, even today I wasn't so sure about my chest fly's, but even after four weeks, I'm a little sore in the muscles! I really like her and feel very motivated by her!

I also started Push on Saturday, I like the one move exercises too Be cautious of your form on some of the lower body exercises with heavier weight so you don't strain your back.

My results from the Burn Phase - down 2 pounds and total body loss of 4 inches!!

I picked up The Perfect Push Up bars yesterday to help out with my sore wrists doing the push ups. I'll give them a try tomorrow with my workout.

Keri,
Are they round with handles? My wrists don't hurt, I just don't think I have built up the right muscles. I can lift a lot with my biceps and in doing squats, but those push ups seem to get me! I can do 1 or 2, but then I have to move to my knees! I try to pay attention to form, sometimes I think my hands are too close, other times I think my hands aren't under my shoulders - ohhh the struggles!

Niki - excellent!!! I am having a bad week myself - TOM just ended, but I feel heavy. I have been eating too much as well, good stuff, but just too much! I am so hungry on my workout days! I haven't been drinking enough water either - too many teas, although I do drink them plain.

LOL, I thought this said "I picked up The Perfect Push Up Bras yesterday." I couldn't figure out how on earth a good push up bra was going to help with push ups (though I'm willing to try anything )

Wow I've been lurking on this thread reading about your results--- very inspirational! I belong to another fitness/nutrition board and the ladies over there also love CLX and are getting good results, too. I am dying to get it BUT---the price!

Ahh, I know I'll cave eventually--- I hope to join you ladies then. Keep up the good work!

Oh just a quick note to 3tikes--- I see you are from Leechburg. That is where my grandparents lived, and my mom grew up! I grew up in New Kensington. Small world!

Hi Kiley!
I graduated from Springdale and we moved to Allegheny Township when are kids were young. I got the CLX on three (not really easy) payments! We are actually considering moving due to employment - not that everywhere isn't suffering!!

Just started 2 days ago...completed Burn 2 today...do need heavier weights. I wish I would have started on a different day...I find it hard to workout on weekends. 4 kids and hubby home, mostly just a taxi driver on the weekends...lol Has anyone put there rest days back to back?
Doing burn intervals and ab burner tomorrow...LOVE the burn...lol Have to say this is the best program I've done in a while and I've tried my fair share.

Okay, so I have an issue.........I am not losing weight. I know I am eating a lot, but I am sooooo hungry after working out. I also have been feeling picky...I can't eat eggs right now, I don't want salad. Right now I am eating vegetable soup that I made the other day. I think I look better, but my shorts are tight around the butt, which is odd because I am a leg gainer. Is anyone else experiencing this? I am going to try to get somethings I like a lot and cook today...I have chicken breasts thawing. I start the push phase Monday. Chalene said some weight gain the first week of each new phase is normal. I have about 10 pounds I'd like to lose...any help out there?

3tikes - make sure that within 30 minutes of working out, you take in some protein. I drink a protein shake usually about 20 minutes after I work out. On the days that I'm not able to do that and don't eat for like an hour, I'm starving all day.

I started Push this week and did gain about 3 pounds at the beginning of the week, but I'm already down two by today (and I started TOM) so it comes off. Your shorts could feel tighter because your butt is lifting (maybe???).

Thanks for the positive note On one of the beachbody boards, I read that it is not unusual at all to gain up to 4 pounds the first week of a new phase. I just now finished my last burn circuit 3. Tomorrow with be the recharge/burn it up. Then Monday is push circuit 1! I hope I get to see more definition.

I was thinking the same thing

I am at the end of week 1 of Push, I am noticing an increase in appetite. It is also TOM but I think it is the lifting causing the increase. I am staying away from the scale for a little while. My plan for next week is to up the protein and lower my carbs a little.

LMAO, the muscles in butt are so sore from the bowler lunges It feels like it is sticking out 10 feet from my body

Niki!
I'm telling you Chalean is a monster! This was my last week of burn circuit and I was really sore again - a good sore, not that I hurt anything sore! My husband was giving me bear hugs and I was screaming I too, am moving away from the scale - my pants fit just fine today, my shorts are another story - but I have months to get them to fit right. Maybe I will never be 141 again, but I WILL be in better SHAPE!

Will you have to do the burn it up / burn intervals tomorrow? When I first started them I whined the whole time "ooh ahh, ooh ahh" until my muscles got warm, and then I realized the cardio did help loosen up those muscles!

I was not sure how you did workouts, mine are listed above, I know the book says to take off Tuesday, but I usually take off Thursday and Sunday. Other than that, I follow the order of her workouts.

Sorry, I thought you were asking something else

We started on a Saturday and then we swapped rest days because my DH has a Thursday night commitment. We take off Thursday instead of Wednesday.
