Good for you, you did really well. Are you going to do another round of it?

I started the lean phase yesterday, I felt very uncoordinated and I failed at 8 to 10 reps , the weight didn't seem to be very heavy but I guess I will have to adjust things again. Did anyone else feel the same way when they started the lean phase?

Not right now. I am doing 30 day shred (along with her other new stuff) and Turbulence training for the summer. I am chalene-d out.

I wasn't crazy about lean phase because some of the work (especially deltoids) was awkward for me. I only have free weights and could only create weights in increments of 5 lbs, and sometimes one weight was too light but the next increment up was too heavy. I didn't want to buy more equipment because I probably wouldn't use it after I finished.

I also have the free weights which go up by 5 when I reach the 15 pound weights so I run into this as well but I was thinking of trying some wrist weights to up the weight only by another 3 pounds.

Did Push 3 last night...doing Burn it Off and Fat Blaster tonight, no Recharge. I am too much of a type A personality to do Recharge, it just takes too long.

KBragg ~ You look awesome, you can really tell where you have toned up and slimmed down. WTG

jabbok ~ That is what I was thinking about doing too, in case I need something in between...I was hoping to get maybe 2 1/2 pounds and just leave them on the whole time. I have two more weeks of Push before I get to Lean so I will have to work it out late next week.

Pleiades ~ Great job...looks like you did really well. I am trying to see the pics but I am having troubles.

Brookjay ~ They are both doable, but I do like Burn it Off better than Burn Intervals, cause it leaves me spent!!!

AngieZ ~ what is DOMS?

Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness - you workout one day, but one or two days later you are sore.

I would have never guess that one . I only had that when I did the Firm and did all the tall box work. Everyone at work would laugh because I would have a hard time walking down the hall after sitting so long in my chair...and going to the bathroom...OUCH! I have only mild soreness with CLX and it is nothing like what I had before, I can still work out the next day which is so much better.

I did LEAN 1 yesterday and got OWNED!!! I was skeptical about the Lean Circuits since Push is soooo intense with the heavy weights and looking ahead at the log sheets I could see I'd be using significantly less weight than Push so I had convinced myself that this would be easy I learned within a few minutes that was not the case. My glutes were hard as rock on those leg curls and are pleasantly sore today even though the weight was much lighter. My biceps are toasted today and my core feels like I did some intense ab work! I think I'm going to like this phase after all

Just wait for the sumo squat with calf raise and bicep curl in Lean 2. That one got me every time. My calves hated me.

Kbragg~ Sweet Two more weeks and I am in Lean, I can't wait. It sounds intense and that is where you are supposed to lose the most weight.

Jabbok ~ I am sore some where every day too

I have been stressed lately, so last night I did:

Burn Intervals, Ab Burner than Fat Blaster.

I was so whooped, but emotionally I felt better. Nothing like burning up stress! So much better than trying to eat my way through it.

I do this too. Chalene even says it in the pep talk at the end of Lean 1 but I won't ruin it for you. Exercise is my Prozac forreal. It's the only thing that gets me though some times

Chrystee ~ Get back on track you can do it. I really love it and am addicted to the way I feel afterwards.

I did Push 1 last night. Only one more week after this one, I can't believe it. These six weeks have just flown by. I finally am getting my diet back on track so I should have great results by the end.

Burn Intervals done for the day. I did get Burn 1 & 2 done this week as well. I'm right on track.

I'm sweaty and I'm tired, but it feels GREAT!

Who ever said Burn Intervals was tougher than Get Lean Intervals was right. It was still tough though! And why'd she trick me into doing more burpees!?

Those burpees are insane I just try and get through them as fast as possible. I really don't like the lunge jump-ups either, they really wear me out.

I ended up doing Cardio Party 2 last night for my rest day. Still need some release and taking up the time with exercise and not food is the better choice. Push 2 tonight and maybe Extreme Abs if I can fit it in.

It is with great reluctance and a heavy heart but I'll be starting this tomorrow. Great attitude, huh?

I've done Power 90 and TJ and have always hated the weight part but I know i need it.

I finished circuit 3 week 1 of the lean circuit, I don't like it as much as the push and burn circuits but will continue until I am done.

Question for all those who are in Lean... how is it different from Burn? Do you like it better? I popped it in a while ago just to check it out, looks fun!

I think it is because they are new exercises again and I should have viewed them before I started so that I would know what ones to do, I just seem to be a fish out of water on this set, not sure why but will keep plugging away.

Oh my Gosh you will FEEL these workouts! My shoulders are still sore from Wednesday and my abs and back WOW do I feel it. It's different in that Chalene incorporates the core heavy in this section.

I like it way better than Burn but PUSH is still my favorite. I felt like a ROCK STAR doing PUSH, I feel like such a noob now
